USA Mundane Forecast
for the four weeks beginning June 12, 2017

LONG-TERM PATTERNS Map 1 Map 2
For the twelve months beginning January 14, the United States Year chart promotes greater optimism. It might be the best, most interesting year we've had in quite a while. Jupiter is most angular (IC, 0°56'). Uranus is on Midheaven (3°01') opposite Jupiter (1°41'). Sun squares MC (1°14') and Jupiter (2°37').

JUPITER OPPOSITE URANUS brings ideological rebellion - both peaceful and violent forms, as diverse as Woodstock and the storming of the Bastille. Expect remapping of the larger social contract, pushing for wider horizons and expanded opportunities. Proponents of liberal social and political agendas raise their voices, demanding civil rights and social justice. At best, it brings collective optimism, inventiveness, new tech vision, and futurism.

However, SUN-JUPITER promises plenty of self-serving, elitist "politics as usual" in the mix, motivated by a non-philanthropic tendency of people with money and power wanting more money and power.

With Jupiter most angular, the year is overall optimistic. Expect victories (e.g., military victories and athletic wins), diplomacy and peace, and heightened prosperity, economic expansion, and a spirit of abundance, celebration, and national pride. With Sun angular, the authority of government is a larger, more persistent presence in the typical American's life. As Sun is well aspected, this will be mostly a beneficent presence.

Arisolar (April 14) Map 1 Map 2
A dormant ARISOLAR brings only a Moon-Neptune square (0°27' in mundo). This filters everything else through a fun-house mirror's distortions. Expect more deception and sleight-of-hand, even scandal. Add waves of emotional reaction, hysteria, panic, fervor, and herd-mind arousal to all other eventualities, plus confusion, disorientation, uncertainty, and undermined feelings of safety. The world gets less rational and more emotionally reactive from mid-April to mid-July.

BRIDGE
Transiting Saturn conjoins Cansolar Midheaven the entire month (and until the Cansolar itself expires in mid-July). While the lunar ingresses (see below) are primarily pleasant, Bridge factors are unpleasant. There is hardship, loss, diminishment, and perhaps a particular focus on the presidency (as it is Cansolar Midheaven that is transited).

June12-21 (continuing from last month) is a SATURN-PLUTO Zone. This pair brings dramatic hardship with profound feelings of irrevocable separation, sometimes with an apocalyptic feel, a sense that we have lost something unrecoverable.

June 22 to July 1 is a SATURN Zone, with the exact transit June 28. Saturn stands out for significant loss - losses in general (whether of life, loot, or an athletic competition), or specific losses such as economic crises (periods of scarcity, loss, economic narrowing, and deprivation), or natural disasters characterized by hardship and death. (These basic themes generalize through several other types of events catalogued in our standard references.)

July 2-10 is a MARS-SATURN Zone: While Saturn transits a Cansolar angle, Mars transits a Capsolar angle. This is the most concentrated of the hurtful transits solar ingresses receive this month. The most acute expressions are likely in these few days around Independence Day. Besides the usual litany of fires, bombs, and personal violence (all unusually high risks), this aspect does not specialize in any one type of event but, rather, incites destruction and hardship wherever it occurs. (Please see our standard reference, Sidereal Mundane Astrology, if you want a longer list of specific possibilities.)

LUNAR INGRESSES

Canlunar (May 28 and continuing)
The Canlunar covers May 28 to June 19 due to the dormancy of other ingresses (including the new Caplunar). Patterns of the prior two weeks still play themselves out as the new astrological month begins.

One of the Canlunar's two main messengers is Moon-Uranus: the close square occurs with Uranus as the most angular planet of the ingress. The world seems restless, impatient, and unwilling to play by its usual rules. Expect only the unexpected, in the form of sudden, explosive, eruptive events and shifting conditions.

Another pattern also involves Moon, and commonly marks periods of instability in the populace, including the uprising of the outraged masses as a corrective herd. Moon, Mercury, and Pluto are all angular, in close mutual aspect.

Strong Uranus and Pluto make circumstances harder to predict, favoring long odds and unlikely circumstances. Moon-Mercury usually boils down to an enormous stream of data unfurling, with the media being even more involved than usual. Mercury-Pluto sparks unwilling disclosures, and streams of information that require us to reframe our thinking about things. The whole is strategic, analytical, penetrating, and enormously busy. Moon-Pluto events have an uprooting, separating, distinguishing, "no going back" character.

Caplunar (June 12)
The Caplunar, applying to June 12 to July 9, is dormant for Washington. It adds nothing distinctive. Ongoing patterns play out. Its main effect is to terminate the Venus-Jupiter peace-and-protection tone of last month's Caplunar.

A quotidian angle touches Capsolar Mars June 14. Another touches Cansolar Mars June 15. One or another Saturn is angular every day June 15-19. (These all operate one or two days either side.) These Q contacts usually mark the days it is least fun and most burdensome to be in a seat of power in Washington.

Arilunar (June 19)
The Arilunar covers June 19-25. Venus squares Ascendant (0°30'), the first of three consecutive Venus-dominated lunar ingresses. When Bridge transits are considered, this is a similar profile to last month, where a sublimely pleasant Caplunar overlapped severe transits. (The outcome last month was that the U.S. president left the country for a week or so on a "summer tour," fitting the Venus-Jupiter themes and giving more of a sense of peace at home while severe circumstances lined up overseas.)

Similarly, do not expect this month's opposite-toned indicators to cancel each other. They will co-exist, each contributing part of the story. Venus specifically brings peace, love, and other causes for celebration. She directs attention to partnerships and other relationships between nations, our connections to allies and rivals. An unafflicted Venus closely angular rarely coincides with terrible events. (I expect unusually peaceful times until the Mars-Saturn Bridge zone begins in early July.)

Venus as love brings to mind those who are much loved. Expect this theme to own the news repeatedly during the next four weeks.

Moon conjoins Uranus (1°52' in mundo), with both planets widely foreground. This continues the uninterrupted patterns of sudden, eruptive, shifting conditions that insist on surprising us. One trend is a continuing shift of the national culture, and conditions requiring rapid adaptation and new responses (including technology shifts and surprises).

Amidst all of this, two background mundane aspects occur for Washington (and the U.S. east in general) but not for the world overall. One is a Sun-Saturn opposition; the other a Jupiter-Pluto square. Politically, both whittle away at the dignity of the U.S. president and his office, and suggest background or backdrop events continue along these lines. Nonpolitical results (such as local economy-disrupting tragedies) are not likely to emerge where these are not angular.

Quotidian angles touch Capsolar Neptune June 21 and Venus June 23. These may operate separately, or collaborate in events such as diplomatic embarrassment, betrayal, or a high-profile mass murder incident around June 22 - these being the events most common under Venus-Neptune.

Canlunar (June 25)
The Canlunar covers June 25 to July 2. Its strongest effect is that it brings the prior Canlunar to an end, relieving us of the severe Mars-Saturn opposition that has plagued many parts of the world for weeks. With Mars-Saturn gone, Ramadan over, and Venus angularities in Washington, the world becomes more peaceful for a while.

The Canlunar's main themes are the same as for the Arilunar. Venus is 2° from Midheaven and Moon widely squares Uranus. These mean the same things they meant last week, perhaps with more strident belief-driven enthusiasm and evangelism.

Quotidian angles touch Neptune June 25-26. Expect the usual daily blips (including Sunday news show interviews that raise far more questions than they answer).

Liblunar (July 2)
The Liblunar covers July 2-16 (next week's Caplunar is dormant). For the U.S., this is the last lunar ingress before mid-July when we also get a new Cansolar. This is a critical week or two: The Liblunar overlaps the climax of Saturn's transit to Cansolar Midheaven (concurrent with Mars' transit of a Capsolar angle). Beyond it's own immediate indications, the Liblunar shows cycles cresting and concluding. Everything picks up pace.

In simple terms, this ingress is just like the two before it: Venus is 1° from Ascendant, and the Moon-Uranus opposition is closer mundanely (1°41') than for the world in general. The same basic interpretation applies, and the same ongoing events are likely in play.

However, subtler factors give this chart a different feel. Uranus is only 0°19' south of the prime vertical, meaning that (in geometry astrologers normally ignore) we have a nearly partile Venus-Uranus mundane square - the natural 90° angle between the horizon and prime vertical. The president, meanwhile, has his own strong Venus-Uranus transits (see "Trump Watch" below). The focus is squarely on our relations with other nations - allies and rivals alike - where relationships significantly shift. While it is July 4, and while I routinely describe Venus-Uranus as "like a child's reaction to fireworks," expect other kinds of bomb-bursts and surprises that trigger (for good or bad) the same feelings, the coalescence of wonder and threat.

Furthermore, the building Saturn and Mars indictors are decisively reinforced by quotidian contacts. On July 2, CanQ Midheaven touches Saturn (square Neptune) as its Ascendant squares Venus-Mars. CapQ Ascendant touches Capsolar Mars July 3, Capsolar Saturn July 5, and transiting Saturn July 6 (the same day the CanQ features two Neptunes). Each of these has a two-day orb. Hardship, conflict, and even violence concentrates on our nation, and especially its capital. The one relief, at the end of the week, is transiting Jupiter on an angle July 7 (which, however, being paired with Saturn, feels like political wrangling to contain a matter).

Trump Watch

Post by Jim Eshelman » Sat Jun 03, 2017 11:25 pm

SUMMARY
Persistent transits include Pluto to Jupiter, Saturn to Sun and Moon, and Uranus to Venus. These are exact in his June 14 SSR, along with Mars to Neptune. Uranus and Saturn are most angular, while he loses the Moon-Jupiter protection from his old SSR.

Progressed Sun on natal Ascendant continues, but is fading. Progressed Saturn on MC has begun and will replace it. Beginning June 23, progressed Moon conjoins Saturn.

His June 9 SLR emphasizes Venus-Uranus and Saturn-luminary aspects. On June 23, as progressions and transits volatilize, a new Demi-SLR has all malefics foreground, Saturn opposite Sun 0°00', and Pluto square Jupiter 0°05'. Some psychological relief comes after July 6.

PROGRESSIONS
Pres. Trump's progressed aspects begin a significant shift this month. Older patterns are already fading, while others are rising to the fore; and one critical aspect takes the lead June 23 that pushes things in a new direction.

He's still riding the long wave of progressed Sun conjunct natal Ascendant (expiring in August). A slow Venus' conjunction with his Jupiter (now in orb, peaking in mid-2018) is the only clear bright spot for him looking forward. Of great concern for him is progressed Saturn conjunct progressed MC, which peaks next January. Surely only the Sun-Ascendant progression is holding this at bay, and it can't do that much longer. The long-term picture for Pres. Trump professionally and politically is dire, moving from a time of brilliant sunlight to deepening, darkening shadow.

This direness strikes hard this month. With progressed Saturn-MC already active, progressed Moon enters partile conjunction with his MC June 12, then begins to conjoin Saturn June 23. Stirring uncertainty, progressed Moon starts to semi-square his Uranus June 27. Moon-MC is exact July 8, and Moon conjunct Saturn on July 19.

Moon-Saturn progressions are some of the roughest we endure, and Trump begins to endure this as transiting Saturn crosses Washington's Cansolar MC and malefic forces concentrate on Washington in general. (See especially the Liblunar week above.) Emotionally exhausting experiences (bringing sadness, depression, frustration, resignation, even illness) commonly involve great loss of dignity, with enhanced feelings of inferiority and inadequacy. Nobody wants to be a "loser" or publically disgraced, but it would be especially hard on this president's personality. Most neutrally we can say that his security needs are stronger during this time; more broadly, we anticipate a distinct personal loss.

TRANSITS
PLUTO squares his JUPITER just as SATURN opposes his SUN. The former is in orb all month, and the latter until July 7. Pluto-Jupiter is exact June 26 and Saturn-Sun June 23, just as his progressed Moon-Saturn progression begins. Then Saturn conjoins his Moon beginning July 3, overlapping the Moon-Saturn progressed conjunction described above, with substantially the same meaning.

This will be one of the worst summers of Donald Trump's life.

Pluto-Jupiter lifts up and casts down, in both cases performing extremely and against the odds. It has lifted him to a pinnacle, and may continue to hold him there, though his risk is a Nixonesque hard casting down on the rocks, falling so close to the Saturn-Sun transit. As Donald Bradley wrote in 1948,
Donald A. Bradley wrote:Jupiter-Pluto. No flights of the imagination are allowed by this planetary combination, which is the harbinger of the end of the old and beginning of a new cycle in the native's relationship to his career, his financial status, and the outside world. (Cf. the speedy coronation of new kings.) It is the marker of crises which make or break the native's reputation, by forcing grave issues out into the light of day, for all to see and judge.
Trump has a possible brief reprieve beginning June 28 with Jupiter semi-square his Mars. This often brings needed strength and improves one's ability to compete. I think it unlikely to overcome the other severe aspects, but it likely will help him endure what otherwise seems unendurable.

This leaves URANUS square his VENUS, already in play and lasting until June 19. Last month I wrote that there seemed no way to know whether this affects his closest personal relationships or the nation's foreign relations. The first clear effect included both, as his son-in-law and close advisor became heavily implicated in the Russia investigation. I still think other shoes will drop, and I hope the very best for his marriage in particular. For most people, this transit means sudden love, renewal and excitement in love and pleasure, flirtations, becoming more fun-loving and experimental, with new "zing" in an old relationship and/or starting an electrical new one. These all carry some emotional tension, and maybe domestic rearrangement. However, this month, the focus seems more on foreign affairs (see the lunar ingresses above).

Key brief MARS transits help identify hotpots for his month. Their exact days are:

Mars sq. r Neptune June 14
Mars conj. r Mercury June 19
Mars ssq. r Mars June 23
Mars ssq. p Sun June 30
Mars sq. r Jupiter July 2

NEW SIDEREAL SOLAR RETURN (June 14)
Perhaps the most important feature of Donald Trump's new Sidereal Solar Return is that it terminates his 2016 SSR with Moon exactly conjunct his natal Jupiter. In its place, he acquires a new annual chart that, by angularities, is tense and debilitating and, by aspects, is potentially devastating.

It's one shining positive feature is technically experimental, something we have not had the opportunity to validate sufficiently: His 29°38' Virgo Ascendant is conjunct the fixed star Spica, long regarded as one of the most positive of stars - except, it is not at its most positive here, because the closest SSR angularity is natal Saturn square Ascendant (0°12') and square the rising Spica (0°44').

Historically, Spica has been associated with fame, a luxurious life-style, refinement, esteem, and alignment with the arts. From this description, I would give it a Venus-Jupiter character. Yet, while agreeing with all of these attributes, Reinhold Ebertin observed that Spica angular with malefic planets causes "a rise followed by a downfall with tragic ending."

Angularities in the SSR, besides the exact natal Saturn, include transiting Uranus (square MC 0°54'), natal Venus (< 2° from MC), and (quite wide) natal Jupiter. Natal Saturn and transiting Uranus, both partile, give the sense of disruption and tension at best, and, more likely, personal unhappiness.

Where this SSR speaks most loudly, though, is in its aspects. It has three that I discussed above, Pluto square his Jupiter (0°17'), Saturn opposite his Sun (0°38'), and Uranus square his Venus (1°20', immediate foreground). To this, add transiting Mars square his Neptune (0°07'). These speak of a hard time, a downfall, personal loss, uprooting of security, and having every psychological vulnerability unearthed and penetrated.

Mars-Neptune is the key aspect of presidential assassinations. However, it is quite background here. I do not expect this physical result. I do, however, expect attacks of comparable severity.

Angular Saturn, Uranus, and Venus, and these four transiting aspects speak most strongly about the year that begins June 14.

SIDEREAL LUNAR RETURN (June 9)
Trump's new lunar return, a few days before the new Caplunar, primarily highlights the Uranus-Venus transit described above - doubly, because its key features are a Uranus-Venus conjunction on Descendant and Uranus square natal Venus at MC. (See what I wrote above on that aspect.)

Despite this mostly-bright tone, severe luminary aspects lurking in the background. Moon and Saturn are conjunct in the immediate background, with Saturn just entering partile orb of opposition to his Sun. Though weakly placed, these are exact in the SLR and, therefore, have voice. It is underscored by natal Saturn closely square SLR Ascendant. Pluto squares his Jupiter (foreground). We have seen all of this earlier: It is nearly identical with his new Solar Return. Something is about to happen that has the power to wound him deeply and personally.

DEMI-SLR (June 23)
Exactly (to the day) as transits and progressions converge to show a major personal crisis, a Demi-Lunar occurs with Sun and Mercury both exactly rising (Sun within 0°05') and natal Sun widely foreground. No doubt, Trump's imperial, solar self will be the hub of events.

Saturn and Neptune are foreground, each 5-6° from angles (on opposite sides and not in aspect). These are debilitating. Were they in aspect, we would read them as suggesting abdication or removal. However, the real focus is on this Saturn conjunct Trump's Moon and opposite his Sun.

Saturn opposes his natal Sun within 0°00' with all three malefics foreground. It is hard to mistake this meaning. Remember that wall he wants to build? Well, under this aspect and these angularities, he gets his wall - and hits it hard. Person and position are assailed. Law prevails. He feels undervalued, underappreciated, discouraged, needing positive recognition and ego-reinforcement when the messages are all the opposite and ego-expression is blocked. Health is at risk. Demands from the outside world increase in number and severity.

Pluto squares his Jupiter within 0°05'.

SIDEREAL LUNAR RETURN (July 6)
Just before the end of the astrological month, and in the midst of the worst mundane astrological pressures on Washington, Pres. Trump has a new Lunar Return that is less dramatic, brings a specie of relief, yet still keeps up the pressure on him.

If, as I think is so, natal planet angularities are to be taken mundanely instead of ecliptically, then this is not a crisis-level chart. (If I'm wrong, then it is.) Natal Pluto is ecliptically 0°19' from the horizon, but mundanely is so far away that it isn't foreground. I will interpret this as if natal Pluto is not foreground.

The strongest factor in the SLR is a partile Moon-Saturn conjunction. In simple terms, things are not going his way.

Moderately foreground, we find transiting Venus and Mercury each 4° from angles. This is the bit of kind relief of which I spoke. It gives a mild sense of peace, a few more kind words. In fact, people have kinder words for him than he has for them, since his Mars is widely (2°03') conjunct Westpoint.

Finally, Pluto is still partile square his Jupiter. The major transits are not letting up on their pressure.

Were we to follow the more house-driven approach of Fagan and Bradley's early years, we would read the 11th house Moon-Saturn conjunction as specifically meaning frustration of hopes and wishes, and perhaps abandonment by friends. I am most intrigued, though, by Bradley's statement in Solar and Lunar Returns that an 11th house Moon "always seems to bring about a state of affairs where the native is required to commit himself, in promise, oath, or admission."

Ingress Angularities - Other Locations

Post by Jim Eshelman » Sun Jun 11, 2017 12:12 pm

Geographic areas cited have about a 150-200 mile leeway for strong effects. For these mappings of planetary energies, see the standard interpretations in Chapter 7 of Sidereal Mundane Astrology. (A link to the free current edition can always be found near the top of the Publications sub-forum.)

Notes below highlight some areas of particular interest. For a full analysis, readers should view the maps and consider all planet lines and intersections against the standard interpretations in SMA, Chapter 7
.

Caplunar (June 12) Map 1 Map 2
MARS & NEPTUNE intersect south of the San Francisco Bay area, with Neptune slicing due north near Seattle but Mars sliding exactly along the west coast of California - an unusual pattern that raises deep concerns about earthquake or other Mars-Neptune phenomena. (See another Mars line in the western Plains in Map 2.)

SATURN is on the longitude that includes Salt Lake City and Phoenix, but intersects Jupiter in south Utah.

JUPITER slices north-south from east Texas to Minnesota, with an important-seeming Moon-Jupiter intersection in east Oklahoma near Arkansas.

VENUS passes through New England - astrology isn't needed to show this would be a great vacation time and place. Moon & Venus intersect in eastern Kentucky, so watch for some theme-specific news near there.

URANUS & PLUTO converge near New Orleans. Something explosive, destabilizing, and shocking can be expected there.

A URANUS line is noteworthy through Charleston and Jacksonville, and all points on the same longitude.

Arilunar (June 19) Map 1 Map 2
Several of the lines resemble last week. Look at both maps on your own.

More NEPTUNE in the Northwest, but specifically a MARS-NEPTUNE crossing in western Oregon.

Several lines pass through the Western states. SATURN is the longitude of Las Vegas. JUPITER passes through Seattle and curves all the way to western Arizona for a Sun-Jupiter crossing. It's easy to predict extra rain in the former and heavier monsoon season than usual in the latter, but other Jupiter phenomena can be expected along the whole line.

MARS slices north-south through the Plains, drawing particular attention with the Mars-Uranus crossing where South Dakota meets Nebraska, and Moon-Mars in western Kansas.

URANUS-PLUTO again intersect in southern Louisiana. Something appears to be building.

Canlunar (June 25) Map 1 Map 2
PLUTO passes through Los Angeles, and much of central California.

JUPITER-SATURN cross in western Arizona - did the rains actually reach flood level? More generally, Jupiter slides along the Rockies.

MARS-URANUS crosses in southeast Utah. MARS itself continues south through eastern Arizona.

Liblunar (July 2) Map 1
In what is probably the most severe week of the month, several areas warrant special attention.

SATURN-NEPTUNE converge through coastal Oregon, with Neptune curving up near Seattle; but Oregon is the focus.

Separately, SATURN cuts through central California, missing the largest population centers (but remember there is a 150-200 mile leeway).

MARS-PLUTO, so close their lines are barely distinguishable, falls north-south along the eastern edge of the Plains States, passing through Fargo and Wichita, among other places. MARS-URANUS-PLUTO cross together near Dallas, and MOON-MARS-PLUTO east of Omaha. MARS-PLUTO also curves from Montana to New Mexico.

As a likely positive omen, MERCURY-JUPITER converge in northeast Texas.

Something to watch in the Canlunar

Post by Jim Eshelman » Sun Jun 11, 2017 12:13 pm

During the week of the June 25 Canlunar, we have an opportunity. I mention the following not as a prediction for the week, but as something to observe, from which we might learn something.

Specifically, students watching mundane alignments along the prime vertical (Vertex axis) may see a different message than that conveyed by Venus' conventional angularity. Mercury, Mars, and Pluto align along the great circle of the PV, in mutual aspect, with Mars-Pluto closest.

We are watching these aspects, which seem important when they aspect planets on the meridian or horizon (which does not occur here). Other examples suggest that, as long as there is a clear aspect, these placements are important even if they do not aspect a foreground planet.

MERCURY-MARS. Vehicular accidents. Declarations and acts of war (including air attacks), and limited ability to reach peace. Mobilization of tactical and logistical skills and capacities.

MERCURY-PLUTO. Major collisions, whether of information, communication, or vehicles. (Collisions of ideas are most common.) Consequences, stunning the intellect, often are so impactful that they are paradigm changing, significantly reframing how people think about things.

MARS-PLUTO. Violent, ferocious, often explosive unleashing of force (e.g., bombs, explosions, accidents, war-like aggression, mass shooting, earthquakes, hurricanes, floods, and fires that release explosive force). Consequences of cumulative stresses.

Well, I don't know how it is to be in power in DC today, but the Saturn roll continues, Trump just revoked many of the Obama openings of relations with Cuba.

This strikes me as Venus-Uranus in nature, so it may be, as well, an expression of the Venus-Uranus aspects Trump is experiencing personally.

Most people who have relatives in Cuba have older relatives in Cuba, who they've been helping with food, clothes, US dollars (worth more in Cuba) and so on. This will make it hard to illegal to help your grandparents in Cuba.
I see Saturn. Might not feel like it to Trump, but it's how it will impact people.

Russia says they've killed Al-Bagdadi (head of Isis). I think this will be the fourth time Russia has killed him since 2015. The UK has killed him twice, I think and the US several times as well. I think he's a minion of that princess from the Mummy.

Have you seen the new memes? (Bezos is founder and CEO of Amazon)

Yes, but soon you'll be able to get the whole list droned to your door from Whole Rainforest.

We've had that option here for a couple of years - haven't used it, despite Prime membership - LA has enough Amazon distribution centers within an hour's drive that we can get almost anything (groceries) we want delivered in half a day's notice for only a small add-on to our Prime account.

Ha. The Venus-Uranus announcement is DACA (the dreamers) won't have their work permits pulled after all although the program is still under review and the program for parents of US citizens has been ended.

Ha. The Venus-Uranus announcement is DACA (the dreamers) won't have their work permits pulled after all although the program is still under review and the program for parents of US citizens has been ended.
That was certainly the GOOD news of the day (so far as it went). I was thinking, on Cuba, though, that it comes under the umbrella of "change in relationship status with other countries," which is distinctly Venus-Uranus.

It actually crossed my mind this morning... do you think Melania is the force behind the Dreamer shift?

Nah. I mean I don't think talking to her hurts, but that's Trump's natural opinion. Keep him away from Bannon and Miller and he thinks DACA is the right thing to do, and has said so often in the past. When left alone, he doesn't see how DACA hurts anything.

URANUS & PLUTO converge near New Orleans. Something explosive, destabilizing, and shocking can be expected there.

Arilunar (June 19) Map 1 Map 2
Several of the lines resemble last week. Look at both maps on your own.

URANUS-PLUTO again intersect in southern Louisiana. Something appears to be building.
Tropical Storm Cindy is headed for the Gulf Coast, with warnings "from Texas to the Alabama-Florida border" (CNN) and landfall expected tomorrow. It looks from the Month and Week charts that the New Orleans area will get hit hardest, though remember to extend those intersections (viewable on the maps linked) by 150-200 miles for a 3° orb.

The other areas mentioned have Jupiter lines, so flooding is not at all out of the question, and they may well get pelted with extremes of rain; but the one area along that stretch that looks explosive and demolishing is centered near New Orleans.

We're at the tail-end of a Saturn-Neptune Cansolar for which I forecast hurricane impact on Louisiana (and which, instead, brought last summer's massive flooding of most of the state - nearly the same thing). That Cansolar surely has a bit of say, still.

A few points about daily timing for tomorrow:

* Transiting Pluto conjoins Capsolar Dsc through Louisiana.
* Transiting Mars squares Capsolar MC at about the Mississippi-Alabama border. Mars contributes force and destruction to great storms.
* A couple of other Mars lines (e.g., CanQ to ingress Mars) fall in Florida near the Alabama-Georgia border for the day.

SATURN is on the longitude that includes Salt Lake City and Phoenix, but intersects Jupiter in south Utah.
CNN also wrote this morning about the extended heatwave in the Southwest, including temperatures reaching 119 in Phoenix yesterday. I've seen this before: At first, I thought Saturn produced cold because it shows for severe winter storms; but it's the severity and hardship shown, not the cold. In a tiny study of most extreme high temperature events, Saturn was also the main feature, and that's what we're seeing in Phoenix this month: hardship, in this case from record-breaking, almost crippling temperatures.

Cindy made landfall today, in southwestern Louisiana near Cameron, and in Port Arthur, TX around 07:00–08:00 UTC on June 22, i.e., 2:00-3:00 AM CDT.

The current Wikipedia page cites the following impact so far:

* Strongest presence in Louisiana, with governor warning against impact of entire state.
* Landfall near Cameron, LA and Port Arthur, TX.
* 1 death, in Fort Morgan, AL
* Two weak tornadoes in the Florida Panhandle.
* Twin tornadoes near Biloxi, MS.
* A tornado Onycha, AL and in Birmingham.
* Associated severe winds along the coasts of Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida.

Compare this to the mundane charts which showed the hardest hit would be Louisiana, with impact for the day shown not only there but at about the Mississippi-Alabama border, in Florida near the Alabama-Georgia border, and in Texas. I have to compare the exact locations of the cities above, but it seems that the spots isolated were pretty correct.

Trump will be in Hamburg, Germany starting July 7 when the Liblunar comes in, for the G-20 where he will meet Putin for what he says will be the first time. The agenda and schedules have not been released so I don't know how long he will be there, but it will be several days, and he should have his lunar return come in while he's there. From Jim's forecasts, I gather Trump will enjoy the meetings a great deal. Germany's Merkel expects difficult talks with Trump about climate change and isolationism, but he may take a miss on those.

Trump will be in Hamburg for the G20 on the 7th and 8th. Before that he'll be visiting Poland. The meeting's only two days. He and Putin have their meeting planned.

Poland & Hamburg

Post by Jim Eshelman » Sun Jul 02, 2017 10:32 am

Thanks for the agenda update. Important matters for the whole world will be happening in Hamburg July 7-8 and, for Trump personally, his July 6 SLR now has new locations outside of Washington.

Liblunar
Let's at least take a quick look at today's Liblunar. Oops, it's dormant... so we trace back to the Canlunar. But first, I need to mention something that might be operative in the Liblunar anyway (an experimental feature): Today's Mars-Pluto opposition is right along the Vertex axis. Vertex contacts have proven themselves quite worthless in these ingresses (in the aggregate, they come closer to showing the opposite meaning than the correct one), but mundane aspects along the prime vertical, and between it and the horizon and meridian, have been quite interesting and are presently under study.

For Hamburg, Mars' azimuth shows it 1°50' before Antivertex, and Pluto's azimuth shows it 0°14' past Vertex. This means that, right along the plane of the prime vertical, Mars opposes Pluto within 2°04'. Mars opposite Pluto may join Moon opposite Uranus as a valid interpretative element for this chart for that location and, if so, I just don't like it!

Canlunar
The Canlunar is the prevailing lunar ingress for Hamburg, and it has one main factor: The universal Moon-Uranus square occurs with Uranus setting. All the effects from angular Uranus and from Moon-Uranus aspects (see SMA) can be expected.

Permit me to be an optimistic and say that these factors are capable of insightful, progressive, innovative solutions, which are not typical of such meetings but would be a great result for the world! Of course, it also could just be bombast.

I'm sure discussion of worldwide cyber attacks and the need for technological solutions will be on the agenda.

Other Hamburg Factors
Hamburg is a good place for a G20 this year, because its Capsolar brings the best it has to offer The Jupiter-Uranus opposition is right along the Eastpoint axis, and Pluto right on IC (and the Sun-Jupiter square highlighted). Again, this creates a context where truly innovative economic, social, political, and diplomatic solutions can be explored. I'm not overly optimistic, but it is true that these planets and aspects create the condition where genuine insight is able to trump conventional thinking.

The Arisolar's Sun-Uranus conjunction straddles Descendant, with Jupiter-Pluto foreground. It has the same potential for real progress, though the same aspects also support the easier road of rampant politics, political conflict, and explosive challenges to existing authority.

The Caplunar has Pluto square Ascendant 0°01 (!), Moon 1° from IC, Uranus on Westpoint and Jupiter moderately rising. I think the focus, therefore, is on the same Moon-Uranus and Jupiter-Pluto aspects that we see in the Canlunar.

Furthermore, for he days of the conference, Jupiter transits Capsolar Ascendant and Pluto transits its IC. This could just mean, "Here is where the economy-themed mega-politics occurs," which would be a waste. They could actually accomplish some good under these transits, though the easiest path is for pure geopolitical power plays, especially since Mars conjoin Cansolar Ascendant throughout the conference.

The conference ends with CapQ Ascendant conjunct transiting Uranus. (I'm hoping the CapQ plays its usual role of trumping the CanQ, since the CanQ has a Sun-Pluto opposition across the horizon and Neptune at MC, real Cold War style covert espionage and imperial power-play skullduggery positions, which, however, probably will have their say as a "B Story Line" plot.) Since most of the events of these meetings is worked out ahead of time and choreographed, the Uranus for the final day probably doesn't mean break-through insights, but more likely means a big surprise announcement at the end.

What About Trump?
Trumps SLR either occurs in Hamburg, or relocates to there. It occurs in the early hours of July 7, at 4:01 AM CEDT. If he is still in Poland (I'm using Warsaw), his natal Mercury is rising, so communication is a primary theme. However, the overall picture is malefic for him. The partile Moon-Saturn conjunction is foreground below Descendant, and the wide (too wide?) Sun-Mars conjunction is foreground below Ascendant. (He also has a little Pluto.) For most people his age, this could just be "arduous times from travelling," though he'll be travelling in as close to a luxury hotel as one can put in the air. He's likely to feel rather beat up.

Relocating this to Hamburg shifts the angularities enough to remove his Mercury from it's "downstage, center" position. For Hamburg, there is really only one factor of great importance: Moon is partile conjunct Descendant (you won't see this in the horoscope, only the mundoscope: the orb is 0°29'), and is partile conjunct Saturn. (Saturn itself is 3°30' below Descendant, but 0°46' from conjunct his Moon in longitude.)

Nothing else is foreground. This makes for a very severe return chart, and a general bad time for him. I've written quite a lot about this Saturn transit to his Moon (and it also opposes his Sun across the SLR horizon). Compare all that to this excerpt from Bradley on Moon-Saturn aspects in a return:
...little incentive to gain or expansion of worldly interests... setbacks, losses, sorrows, and blows to the native's pride which give rise to regrets and grief... Ofttimes, the health is undermined through poor circulation, constipation, rheumatism and worry. Typical Saturn accidents, toward which there is a definite predilection, are crushing, bruising, bone fractures, falling, and the like. Such things as brain tumors, blood clots and ulcers are sometimes activated... Where personal relationships are involved, a bereavement is not unlikely, although the aspects more commonly cause the breaking up of old friendships, being placed at a social disadvantage, and becoming the victim of a theft.
For the conjunction specifically, he added, "deprivation and disappointment... the native suffers through loss and denial."

The Descendant particularly refers to matters of alliances or, more generally, all focused relationships whether of allies or enemies. For a high-level world event that is all about alliances, this is a terrible setup for Trump: Moon exactly on Descendant, with a strong partile affliction. If one expands one's reach a bit (going back to a style F & B came to question later in life), there is a severe 1st-7th house aspect structure, Sun-Mars opposite Pluto.

Either way, it's bad for alliances, bad for relationships, and bad on his health. Partile aspects in the SLR include the Moon-Pluto conjunction, with Saturn 53' from opposite natal Sun (he will not be seen as a leader in this collection of world leaders), and Pluto square his Jupiter 15'. However, he probably will think that he is: Background Jupiter squares the SLR's middleground Sun within 0°51', a mark of self-aggrandizement and self-exaltation.

Moon entered Libra yesterday. Here is the Liblunar interpretation, reproduced for convenience.

To state the obvious, the G20 occurs this week, and a key passage in the above says:
...we have a nearly partile Venus-Uranus mundane square... The focus is squarely on our relations with other nations - allies and rivals alike - where relationships significantly shift.

So Trump's "sideline face to face shake hands and take photos" meeting with Putin has morphed into an actual sit-down meeting on Friday the 7th, with translators and everything. Don't know what time.

On the farce stage, Trump and his supporters actually can make us laugh so much. Some say this sh.. just can't be made up, but I say sometimes reality is just more ridiculous than a farce can ever get :D

Don't know if this farce we've been witnessing ever since he was inaugurated can be seen as astrological "funny" aspects, but this one is just too good to not share it:

That's nothing new, and not exclusive to Trump supporters. It used to be great sport for newspapers to go round and read the Bill of Rights to people without telling them what it was, and publish the reactions. People always think it's incredibly subversive and whoever authored it hates this country and should move to Canada.
Always good for a laugh.
