Chart of a nice guy

I have a friend on twitter who seems to have a pretty amazing chart, one seemingly inclined toward social success with an angular and concurrently partile Moon-Jupiter opposition, a partile Mercury-Jupiter opposition, and a wider Sun-Jupiter opposition, as well as an angular. Venus. He's a cool guy ...

I can't discern that it is. In fact, I'm not sure ive ever discerned it honestly in any condition, though it does have a weak statistical discernment (the groups were all vocational.)
Okay thank you Mr. E, I'm confident then that I can ignore it

Re: Retrogradation

Is the slight suppression of a retrograde planet's nature still apparent when that planet is angular?

Re: Retrogradation

If you type "retrograde" in the search box (upper right of any page on solunars,) you'll get 5 pages of hits. If you go to the last page, and page forward from there, you'll see the posts we deemed most useful when we moved the forum over to the new site. They're all dated early May two years ago. ...

Re: Retrogradation

Geocentrically (the perspective from which astrology is generally practiced and dependent), its position is its real position. Seeing it from a different perspective is no more real than seeing it from this perspective. Okay thank you Mr. E. Does retrogradation have any affect at all on the nature ...

Retrogradation

If retrogradation is just an illusion and not really anything more, wouldn't the angularity and aspects made with a retrograde planet be illusory too? Since its apparent position is not its real one?

Re: Moon-Jupiter

I don't think of a birth chart as necessarily showing luck per se . All lives are lucky and unlucky at times. I think this is partly true, I see a lot of the time something you've mentioned previously, that charts tend to predict the way we respond to things, and I see often that, for example, if t...

Re: Moon-Jupiter

Is Moon-Jupiter lucky at all? I know a lot of Sun-Jupiter people and they all seem to have issues resolve themselves fairly quickly, even issues that until their resolution seem insurmountable, and they are sometimes the subject of unusual luck, this doesn't seem to be the case for Moon-Jupiter peop...

Re: University/Career advice

With such a strong Neptune presence in your chart, with your Sun in Pisces, the Sun receiving a partile square from Neptune (common among "enormously successful politicians"), Venus receiving a partile octile from Neptune, and Neptune being angular, I'd say you'd do well in a career in politics. Alm...

Re: Synastry with an Aries

This girl is extremely boring and it's actually become a problem I've had to address with her, that when things don't involve sex or arguments there's nothing interesting between us, that she bores me, and she tried to do better for about a day and things just went back to how they were before, as i...

BTW, I've mounted all that raw data into a spreadsheet, and will start calculating the charts and tabulating a full statistical workup.

Re: The Stars of Saints

"Miracle" is a primary Pluto keyword. Time to reread the Kid Gloves article on Pluto! Thank you for the suggestion, just reread this and I'm astounded at this planet but also terrified? He calls the planet undoubtedly diabolical, then follows with that it's also commonly found in the maps of saints...

Re: The Stars of Saints

I am no saint however I can definitely say that Jupiter+Pluto have themes of spirituality that to many may seem miraculous or down right almost brainwashed. "Brainwashed" is a hard sell, any involvement with Pluto is going give a certain level autonomy and uniqueness. The principles for Jupiter-Plu...

Re: The Stars of Saints

What do you mean by "monastic"? Exactly what you wrote? The word normally is used foremost to indicate isolation and removal, and would be most characteristic of your exactly angular Pluto. (A secluded, cloistered lifestyle is normally Saturn or Pluto.) I totally forgot about Pluto, but the definit...

Re: The Stars of Saints

I had been wondering for a while why, for the first 5 years of my adult life, I had been intensely devoted to a monastic lifestyle (spending several hours everyday in meditation and study) and I think Jupiter might be why, I just don't know why

The Stars of Saints

After going through the AA rated birth times for saints on Astro databank (found here: https://www.astro.com/astro-databank/Category:Vocation_:_Religion_:_Saint/_Stigmatist), a couple things stood out to me. The first and I think most important thing is that Jupiter figures prominently with enough f...

This chart is almost exactly the same as mine! How interesting? Sun in Aries, Moon in Taurus, Venus in Pisces, Mars in detriment, and an angular luminary. Mercury-Pluto (since previous post is locked)

I've added some ideas to what I previously considered common among those with Mercury-Pluto configurations, and feel confident that they're close to the mark after corroborating the interpretation's merit with a few dozen of my Twitter followers as well as the individuals initially used to help furt...

Re: Synastry with an Aries

Made this girl my gf rather quickly but things are not pleasant, she never speaks to understand she speaks to be contrary and it's hard to keep things amicable this way. I've had to sit her down twice to discuss this, all to no avail. What's been especially bad is that at times she has an idea of ho...
