Steve's new SSR (2019)

Post by Jim Eshelman » Fri Sep 20, 2019 8:11 am

Steve, I thought you might want a full breakdown of angularities. I think you probably aren't using the Excel spreadsheet that lets you calculate natal planets' angularity in the SSR, and they matter this year. (The only foreground planets are natal planets.)

t Moon-Jupiter op 0°47' in mundo
t Moon-Neptune sq. 1°06'

r Saturn on IC -5°30'
r Moon on Dsc -3°13'
r Pluto on IC -3°06'
-------------------------
r Jupiter on Dsc +6°45'

-- r Moon-Pluto sq. 0°07' in mundo
-- r Saturn-Pluto conj. 2°24' in mundo
-- r Moon-Saturn sq. 2°37' in mundo

Other Partile
t Jupiter-Neptune sq. 0°05'
t Pluto sq. r Venus 0°12' in mundo
t Mercury conj. r Neptune 0°24'
t Mars-Saturn sq. 0°52' in mundo

Thank you very much Jim. I always learn from your astrological brilliancy. I will try and give reports throughout the year when I see any of this main SSR symbolism manifest in my life. I know this for sure, FWIW, I am already seeing/feeling a very strong sense of the Moon-Jupiter-Neptune and will test it on some future speculation, but as always, when I see Neptune involved with any issues in my life I don't trust what I think it may mean. I will definitely come back to this thread for several posts so we may all learn.

Jim writes in his out of print book (a great book)--'Interpreting Solar Returns':
This, then, isolates the Moon as the most crucial agent in a Solar Return, after the angles. SSR Lunar aspects to natal and solar planets can never be treated lightly, even when rather wide in orb. So remarkable is this single factor that, if lunar aspects are nearly exact while foreground planets are not exceptionally close to the angles, the solar Moon can be considered the primary theme-setter of the SSR for the year ahead, bar none.
Below is a link to my SSR. Jim's book teaches us to first read the SSR as a stand alone chart isolating any main 'theme-setters.' Then Jim wants to bi-wheel our SSR's with the Natal chart looking for any tight angular natal planets to the SSR angles-- for how we react to SSR influences.

First it become obvious to the eyes looking at the below link for my 2019 SSR, the main theme-setter in my SSR is Moon-Jupiter-Neptune t-square. I looked at my 2019 SSR a year before it became activated and knew to pay close attention to any gambling/ speculation opportunities which happened to appear in my mind, occurring in my mind near my 2019 SSR. Well, that has already happened BIG TIME! But, I have to have a practical plan because Ebertin says about a possible manifestation of Moon/Jupiter = Neptune:
Disadvantages through speculation or wastefulness.
So, I must be very careful with my gambling and speculation issues throughout my solar year. But I see something in my Natal Chart falling on my SSR angles which may offer my gambling/speculation in my solar year with a “Magician and Adept” mode for myself. This possible “Magician/Adept” influence may be offered to me through Jim's great teachings with Sidereal Mundane Astrology, only TIME knows for sure.

My first recreational gambling venture will occur on Nov 9 2020 which I will post about later with Sidereal Mundane Astrology. I will take 10% of my bank account (a rare happening) and risk in an attempt to start fulfilling the main theme of Moon-Jupiter-Neptune for some possible Moon-Jupiter fun/success. If I lose the Nov 9 bet, I will cease all gambling/speculations issues for the solar year. In other words, if I lose the Nov 9 wager, I will know Ebertin's malefic delineation for Moon/Jupiter =Neptune is probably correct; but, like I said—I think have some Aces up my sleeve with Sidereal Mundane Astrology. more later...

Yes, thanks Arena. :) I am also looking forward to this SSR with its possible manifestations for me. Its going to be a fun recreational challenge for me; win, lose, or draw :) . My objective is to risk 10% of my bank account on Nov 9 for a possible growth of my bank account 40-50% throughout the solar year on several possible speculative situations with possible future criteria. This will allow me to practice all of my astrological skills/learnings for myself. The Nov 9 wager will be important for possible success, for if I win my betting strategy will not allow me to lose, regardless any other future bets after Nov 9. But, if I lose the Nov 9 wager, I will cease operations. I have to wait till Nov 9 to see if certain criteria is in place for the sporting event, but I will be able to start posting before Nov 9 about my personal Sidereal Astrology cycles with my views pertaining to Ebertin's book 'Combination of Stellar Influences', and with other astrologer's views. I welcome all others astrological opinions. :)

I want know until Oct 27 if the criteria will be met for me to make my first wager for my solar year, with my personal recreational gambling venture/objective to increase my bank account. But, two huge incidents occurred this last week which definitely falls under manifestations for my Moon-Jupiter-Neptune t- square signature in my current SSR. It probably was timed with this t-square being activated with p. SSR Moon becoming par-tile with p. Moon 21,22 Tau, p. Jupiter 21,54 Scorpio, p. Neptune 22,00 Aqu. Here is what happened:

1: About mid-week I saw a post by Jim in the Bernie Sanders thread: https://www.solunars.com/viewtopic.php? ... 112#p26576

which prompted me to look deeply into Bernie's A rated timed horoscope. I was stunned by the very benefic symbolism I saw using my methodology for election year 2020. I made a definite decision: If Bernie happens to win the Dem candidate for Prez, I will definitely make a recreational wager on Bernie becoming the next Prez. I am sure Bernie will be an underdog with Vegas betting odds.

2: My wife & I belong to a small club of party people called “Blasts from the Past.” Once every Quarter this club gets together on Friday's for old movies, music, dancing, with a catered dinner. Being the designated movie and you tube music man, I will organize old movies from the past with selected you-tube musical video's to watch on a large screen after dinner. By the time the movie ends every one is in a good mood with the alcohol contents just right :) , and the musical videos begin with, at times, wild dances from the past. This past Friday's event was collectively called the best ever by the group which made me feel Jupiter proud since the club depends on me to organize the entertainment blasts from the past. The old movie played last Friday was 'Jewel of the Nile,' and I discovered a you-tube musical Video by Billy Ocean, “When the Going Gets Tough the Tough Gets Going.” I will post this you tube video in Club Aldebaran . I played this video after the movie and everyone got-up and started intimidating the line dancing done by Michael Douglas, Katherine Turner, and Danny Devito in the musical video, with the demand I keep playing the music video over and over. Believe me, everyone's alcohol content was perfect. :D

I was born with Jupiter rising and I want to quote a couple of sentences from Donald Bradley's great book “Taking the Kid Gloves Off Astrology” about the symbolism of Jupiter, which penetrates deep into my soul about learning who I am with my Natal Chart. IMO, It is important for all of us studying astrology to get to know ourselves, where we can as much as possible join in harmony with certain possible signatures with our Natal and SSRs. The study of Sidereal Astrology along with studying Ebertin's book 'Combination of Stellar Influences' –(positive & negative manifestations) helps us to minimize our negative cycles with forethought and maximize our positive cycles which flow through us from the nature of the cosmos we live. We all live with our negative and positive astrological cycles.

Bradley:
Jupiter plainly is the ruler of music or, at least, of musical appreciation.
And
Jupiter rules gambling and speculation.

So, you see how that partile p Moon 180 p Jupiter 90 p Neptune in my current SSR last week captured my soul/being with a positive timing frame in my life. It was an adrenaline high for myself shared with others! :)

Sounds awesome :)

Yes, you have persuaded me that, at the very least, Jupiter is music appreciation and probably music production. Your story reminds me, though, of the maestro and "great show" idea of Jupiter - maestro being long associated with Sagittarius. I think Jupiter has the knack to get people to remark, "Wow, great show!" whether it's Beethoven, Puccini, Elvis, or non-musical showmen like Howard Stern.

BTW, I would rate Bernie's 12:27 birth time as C, not A. There are still too many gaps on who said what to whom - no known identities in the mix - so I think it qualifies as "unknown source." Nonetheless, with your add-ons this week I'm seriously looking it at as probably his actual chart.

Yes, only if he becomes the Dem candidate, and second if elected Prez, will I become serious we have his actual chart. That once in a life time Solar Arc Jupiter approaching exact cnj to his Natal MC in 2020 in the C rated will definitely convince me we have a correct time if he is elected Prez.

When I read your post it reminded me of an article I read just a few days ago that long term couples/married people can keep their love flame alive by getting adrenaline kicks together. Apparently the quiet dinner dates people often do to get themselves out of the house every now and then do not serve as a happy glue/spark ... it is done by getting adrenaline flowing in your blood :)

After studying astrology for about 20 years in my 40 years of study, I started applying the following words by British astrologer C.E.O. Carter to certain objectives in my life:
The natus is not, or at least need not be the Man/Woman. It is rather his/her general life pattern and the instruments available for his/her use.
It took me about 15 years of studying certain astrology books before I realized the key to astrology is to learn to “Know Thyself.”

C.E.O. Carter's book “Principles of Astrology” was the first astrology book I ever read in 1977, and I was reminded of this when I recently read one of Kay Cavendar's astrological essays at https://www.solunars.com/viewtopic.php? ... 8&start=25 ; page 2 with Jim's post April 1 2018, 3:16 AM. When it comes to understanding special things on a heart level about astrology, Kay is a special Sidereal Astrology person and imo, a gifted astrological writer. I highly recommend Kay's above referenced essay.

I also apply Carter's above quoted words to my Sidereal Solar Returns (SSRs) when I see dynamic aspect structures, for I believe as Cyril Fagan-- SSRs is like a new natus for one year and should be combined with the Natal Chart looking to enhance certain individualized 'instruments' (aspect structures) for possible use, minimizing possible negative aspects and enhancing possible positive aspects. As I have often stated on this forum, imo, there is no greater Sidereal Solar Return teacher than the host of this forum, Mr. James A. Eshelman, and that includes the father of Sidereal Astrology and modern rediscover of the Sidereal Solar Return from the ancients—Cyril Fagan.

My favorite book to use when I set certain objectives for my life is Reinhold Ebertin's book “The Combination of Stellar Influences.” This one book has greatly helped me understand the verbs of astrology—the planets and their aspects, and Sidereal Astrology has taught me the vast importance of solunars angles and/or lunar aspects.

Throughout my 2019 solar year, for what it may be worth to the novice student of SSRs, I will be offering some posts how I plan/time certain activities with the teachings of Sidereal Astrology (Solunars) and certain other astrological techniques combined with the book—“Combinations of Stellar Influences.” I am certainly no adept but constantly strive for adeptness with my astrological philosophy pertaining to my personal life.

There is something I must explain about certain circumstances about my 2019 SSR, which will help us all learn. Matthew Quellas (RIP), once a close colleague of Jim, taught me to pay close attention to 'out of ordinary' circumstances in your life about a month before a new SSR, particularly if your SSR featured dynamic aspects/structures. Jim, I assume Matthew learned this from you or you and Matthew came to the same conclusions.

Here is what happened in my life about 10 days before my new 2019 SSR set-up. My best friend of 53 in my life visited me for 3 nights. He is a very successful business man and always enters different kinds of large $ amount of sports betting pools each year. I can't afford to enter these same betting pools. But last year when I had t. Jupiter going over my Natal Moon, I used Jim's Super Bowl analysis on 50 Super Bowls using Sidereal Mundane Astrology (SMA) which helped my friend win one of the these large $ pools. Jim's analysis of these 50 Super Bowl winners/looser proves out to be 80% accurate for picking winners and losers. A professional gambler will always use any kind of historical evidence proven by mathematical statistics which proves out to be 80% accurate. Last year my friend and I hit a hot streak betting using SMA. Back in the mid 90s, my friend spent 2 years in Vegas going to Restaurant/Casino Management School for a possible career in the Casino business, but became as part owner of a very successful Beach Side Cafe in Gulf Shores Alabama.

Anyway, when my friend came to visit me in Sept, he asked me to look at some possible future games using SMA to do some early prediction on certain possible important psychological content involving sporting contest. I found something which looked most interesting using SMA, but only if the psychological content (criteria) existed for a game on Nov 9 2019. If this psychological criteria exists for this Nov 9 game, my friend is going to bet all of his pool points on this game, and if win, he will probably win another large football pool. With large $ football pools you can risk small amounts of money relative to the size of your bank account and win substantial amts of $.

If this psychological criteria is available for the Nov 9th game, my friend has invited me and wife down to his place in Gulf Shores for lots of social gala with him and his mate, all expenses paid my friend. In other words, win of lose the possible wager on the Nov 9 game, we are going to have lots of social fun!!! I have looked at all of our charts and there is a-lot of fun-loving social aspects. The first chart I want to show will be my current Oct 30 SLR for this possible trip which begins on Nov 7. Mundo Jupiter is 00,15 cnj my SLR ASC! I will be in Springville when this SLR sets-up. So far the psychological criteria for this Nov 9 game still exists. More charts and and astrology later.

One of the best solunar guidelines I have discovered in timing/planing certain possible benefic incidents for my life, when certain dynamic benefic aspects appear in a SSR, are Donald Bradley's words from his book “Solar and Lunar Returns” which state:
Lunar Returns, while more powerful in immediate effect, are subservient to the preceding solar return. Therefore, we must look to the lunar return for proof that lunar returns usually “time” the major occurrences foreshadowed in the annual (SSR) chart.
Since my current SSR features a benefic foreground Moon (20,54 Tau) 180 to Jupiter (21,55 Sco), I will look to my Oct 30 Lunar Return (SLR) with transiting Jupiter near exact cnj my SLR ASC as timing the peak benefic manifestations for my 2019 SSR, and possibly setting-up other major benefics tones/incidents for the rest of my solar year.

I agree with the above entirely.

I came up with a new visualization of this over the last few days. Steve, you'll find this interesting with how closely you follow the stock market. The market itself has larger trends, and then within that are more frequent ups and downs. A "down" during a high market isn't nearly so "down" as it is during along market. The shorter-term ups and downs are measured against the current average baseline.

Similarly, I saw this week that the solar return characteristics set a general trend in motion. On good years, that trend runs high (though it will have ups and downs); in bad years, it runs low; on other years, it's pretty even. But, within that general trend, the lunar returns show shorter ups and downs.

This translates into a few simple guidelines:

* The best times are when the SSR and SLR are both positive.
* The worst times are when the SSR and SLR are both negative.
* A bad SLR during a good SSR is not so bad in comparison.
* A good SLR during a bad SSR is not all that good in comparison.

I think we already tend to think in these terms, but I can't recall anyplace I've seen this stated quite this way before, so thought it might be useful.

The only times I pay any great attention to an Ennead chart is when I see Jim's definition for an 'outstanding incident' in a return chart which reads as:
It is when angularity and aspect partility (1 degree or less) coincide that outstanding incidents are likely to come about.
Note my Oct 31 Ennead Chart (link below), there is a partile Mercury-Venus conjunction with a stationed Mercury, which is tightly cnj the Ennead Asc qualifying as an 'outstanding incident' return chart. Also note the partile Moon-Jupiter cnj which echos my tight Moon-Jupiter 180 in my SSR. This is a nice benefic set-up for the time frame I have selected to time a-lot of social partying with my wife and best friend, and with a possible wager using Sidereal Mundane Astrology during the second week of Nov.

Enneads are 9 charts during the solar year which I believe possibly helps us to time when the main symbolism in our SSRs will manifest, and when I see possible 'outstanding incidents' SSRs symbolism, I want to follow Donald Bradley's same guidelines for lunar returns with Ennead's Charts for electing certain time frames in my life for certain activities. Again, Donald Bradley states from his book Solar and Lunar Returns:
Lunar Returns, while more powerful in immediate effect, are subservient to the preceding solar return. Therefore, we must look to the lunar return for proof that lunar returns usually “time” the major occurrences foreshadowed in the annual chart.
So, I see for my life a SLR on Oct 30 which features a 00,15 Jupiter cnj my SLR ASC and a benefic 'outstanding incident' Ennead Return Chart on Oct 31. These two return charts are the main reason I have selected Nov 6,7,8,9 for some major social partying activity with a road trip. Later, I will offer transit charts and quotidian charts which fall within this same time frame showing benefic influences.

I will try to remember later to post Solar Fire instructions for calculating your 9 Ennead charts for your solar years.

Donald Bradley made this statement about the Ennead Solar Return Chart:
I believe it can be stated quite unequivocally, on the basis of extensive statistics, that the novienic solar return (Ennead) is more intense in its impact than even the familiar lunar return.
I have got to show everyone a soon to be (Oct 21) Ennead Chart for my best friend of 53 years in life, and offer some brief incidents which I already know will be happening during the 40 days & nights covered by this Ennead Chart for my friend. This Ennead qualifies under Jim's teachings for Return Charts as an 'outstanding incident' Return Chart.

Best friend's birth data: Jan 8, 1948; 10:05 AM CST; Birmingham, Alabama (33N31-86W48); Source: Birth Certificate. Current Residence: Gulf Shores, Alabama; (30N15-87W42).

Steve's best friend Oct 21 Ennead:
https://imgur.com/RTGQOtY

Mundo Moon is 00,43 cnj IC, partile 90 Uruans partile 90 MC, qualifying this as an 'outstanding incident' Moon-Uranus Ennead using Jim's 'outstanding incident' return chart guidelines . Donald Bradley has taught us when we see a prominent Uranus in a chart un-afflicted, we should expect manifestations of 'excitement.' Mundo Mercury is 00,29 cnj DSC with mundo Venus 2,25 cnj DSC in Libra, a great angular aspect for social partying. Here is whats happening in my friend's life during this 40 day period for his benefic Ennead:

On Nov 8 my friend has a party planned for 6 couples, including my wife and I. My friend wants me to put-on my 'Blast from the Past' presentation with an old movie and youtube musical videos, which greatly pleases my soul. I take great delight in entertaining other people with 'my thing' –great music/movie oldies. Dinner will be catered. My friend has recently bought his dream house and can't wait to show it off to all his close friends.

On Nov 9 mourning, my friend has a catered Brunch for the same 6 couples. That afternoon is catered snacks and SEC football. That evening—another party with another catered dinner and a rented live band for requests and dancing.

As a side note: Last year I helped my friend using Sidereal Mundane Astrology (SMA) win a sizable $ football pool which is paying for all the above social festivities. And this year, my friend is probably going to win another sizable football pool by betting all his pool points on a football game Nov 9th, more about his possibility later as we get closer to Nov 9th. My friend has told me and my wife if he wins this football pool, he is flying my wife and I with he and his mate out to Vegas on Super Bowl weekend, all expenses paid out of these possible football pool winnings.

It should also be noted the main feature in my friend's current SSR was SSR Moon partile cnj his Natal Moon which has been dominating the main tone for his solar year along with t. Jupiter partile cnj his Natal Moon and Natal MC. But we can clearly see when his Oct 21 Ennead is timing more of the SSR Moon partile cnj Natal Venus coming out with all the partying he has planned for the Ennead time frame.

My friend's 0ct 31 'outstanding incident' Sidereal Lunar Return (SLR).
https://imgur.com/3pJm7O0

Note again we see an 'outstanding incident' Mercury-Venus tone in this SLR, great planetary symbolism for all the partying he has planned for his friends. Also note how this SLR is timing bringing-out again the SSR Moon-Venus main theme in his current SSR. All of this for my friend is par-excellent solunar teachings from the masters of Sidereal Astrology including the host of this forum—Jim Eshelman.

Also we can definitely see how my best friend party plans has a-lot to do with bringing out the benefic main tone of Moon-Jupiter in my current SSR :) . Its getting late in my life and I am going to savor every moment of this benefic SSR the Universe is bestowing on my life through the knowledge's of Sidereal Astrology. :)

In my 40 years of studying astrology, never have I come across an Astrologer like Jim Eshelman. In Jim's writings, he offers so many details full of so much astrological truth, I will never cease to be amazed. Jim writes from his book “Interpreting Solar Returns:”
At the same time, the Solar Return is the basics of the most powerful forecasting system presently known to astrological technology. When accompanied by certain accessory techniques, the Solar Return is capable of specifying events with great clarity and acuity.
One of those 'accessory techniques' appeared in my current SSR, and that was a tight solar Moon-Jupiter 180—t-squared to solar Neptune. This is an 'outstanding incident' aspect in my SSR and this main themed SSR aspect is firing all over me - so far in very benefic various psychological manners. About a week before my 2019 SSR began, I had a close friend appear at my house and presented many possible opportunities to me and possibly for him. He asked me to elect some future benefic times for both of us into the future, something a Sidereal Astrologer relishes as a task/mission. I have already posted about my benefic SLR beginning Oct 30, and 'outstanding incident' benefic Ennead beginning Oct 31. My friend asked me to elect a favorable day for me to do my thing with my youtube music presented at a party with 6 other couples. I elected Sat Nov 8-9 for a-lot of social partying, and a possible speculative wager on a certain game (Nov 9) if the criteria fit the event to execute possible high % successful prediction with Sidereal Mundane Astrology, using Jim's criteria for his analysis for 50 Super Bowls. The criteria does fit the event for high % to successfully execute the knowledge of Sidereal Mundane Astrology on Nov 9 for a speculative wager, more about this later.

On Sat Nov 9th t. Venus is partile cnj my Natal Moon, and partile cnj my secondary progressed Sun-Jupiter conjunction. Whenever I see a possible benefic SSR, I then want to locate a benefic SLR; then a day for benefic partile transits to natal and possible secondary progressed factors. Then, if possible I want to elect either a benefic Natal Quotidian and/or Solar Quotidian, very rare to get benefic for both Quotidian charts on the same day. Below is a link to my p. Natal Quotidian (NQ2) on Nov 9 in Gulf Shores, Alabama, 12:00 PM, with Natal Chart as outside wheel. From Friday night Nov 8 to Sat night Nov 9, there is a-lot of parties planned with much social activity.

Note my p. NQ2 Venus is partile cnj NQ2 MC. This only happens one day out of a solar year. But even just as important—note my Natal Venus is partile 90 my secondary progressed NQ2 Venus, almost with Natal Venus partile cnj NQ2 DSC, a very rare occurrence. Let the parties begin :D ! Also note my p. Solar Moon is partile 180 Solar Jupiter.

Before the beginning of the college football season my friend asked me to look over Vegas future lines on games into the future and select one game with Sidereal Mundane Astrology for him to make very important bets for his big football pool. He told me if he won this football pool he would fly my wife and I out to Vegas on Super Bowl weekend, expenses paid, very exciting stuff for me and wife. The game my friend made a future bet on before the college football season began was LSU + 16 vs Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Alabama on Nov 9th. This means my friend will win this very important pool bet and $ bet as long as Alabama does not win by more than 16 points. Before the season began, the so-called sports experts in Vegas who makes future point spreads did not expect LSU to have a good team, but knew Alabama was going to have a good team!

The last time Alabama lost a game on their home field was Nov 5th 2011 and LSU was ranked in the AP poll at # 1 in the nation, and Alabama was ranked # 2 in the Nation. LSU won that Nov 5 2011 game 9-6 in an upset. Eight years later Nov 9 2019, LSU is ranked # 1 in the Nation and and Bama # 2 with the Nov 9 2019 game to be played in Tuscaloosa again. Is history about to repeat itself with LSU up-setting Bama again???

The Sidereal Mundane Astrology on Nov 5 2011 predicted LSU had high % to win that Nov 5th game, and again Sidereal Mundane Astrology has high % for predicting LSU upsetting Bama again on Nov 9 2019. Understand, very rarely does Alabama lose a home game! Vegas has not yet put out betting lines on this Nov 9 game, probably Monday Nov 3rd. Later, I will post Sidereal Mundane Astrology charts for the game on Nov 5 2011 and Nov 9 2019.

My Nov 9 2019 NQ2 (inside wheel) bi-wheeled with Natal Chart (outside wheel).

Re: Steve's new SSR (2019)

Post by SteveS » Tue Oct 29, 2019 8:14 am

Now would be a good time for me to post about how I have been 'reacting' natally to the main theme of my SSR Moon-Jupiter-Neptune. Jim writes from his post on this forum 'How to Interpret a Sidereal Solar Return (SSR) found on this link: https://www.solunars.com/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=233
SSR planets are interpreted as describing circumstances the world brings to the individual. Natal planets represent the individual's reactions to these circumstances or, sometimes, the actions which invoke them.
When you get as old as me studying astrology for about 40 years, you get to know your Natal Chart intimately, and Jim's above quoted words about how one will 'react' to any possible 'outstanding incidents' foretold in a SSR become key. I already know the “circumstances the world has brought" to my individually. It brought a great friend in my life to my house in early Sept 2019 for 3-4 days who was very interested in me applying my astrological knowledge for he and I having some fun gambling/speculating, and inviting me to his new house in Nov for a-lot of social gala. My friend who knows nothing about astrology has had me demonstrate in the past to him the predicted value of Jim's Report on 50 Super Bowls, and my friend understands my passion for recreational gambling and organizing youtube musical videos to present to small parties of people. So, my friend and I have set a couple of plans in motion beginning a couple of weeks before my 2019 birthday.
Jim stated earlier in this thread about my SSR with my angular radical (natal) planets in my 2019 SSR.
r Saturn on IC -5°30'
r Moon on Dsc -3°13'
r Pluto on IC -3°06'

r Moon-Pluto sq. 0°07' in mundo
r Saturn-Pluto conj. 2°24' in mundo
r Moon-Saturn sq. 2°37' in mundo
I already know how my Natal Saturn-Pluto conjunction works beneficially in my life. It works with me spending a-lot of time doing deep astrological research for myself endeavoring to live in harmony with whatever my SSRs bring to my doorsteps in my life. My Saturn-Pluto falls in my 9th House of “Higher Learning, Philosophy, Religion, Travel.” Sidereal Astrology is my higher learning, philosophy, and religion. Its only when you get older with lots of astrological experience one can at times see certain house meanings sway your life with truer meanings, but as a general guideline I pay little attention to house meanings. I have known for a long time when I retired in life I wanted to immerse myself into astrological research, and there is no better astrologer on this planet who has researched Astrology more than Mr. James A. Eshelman, our host of this forum. And this brings me to what Ebertin says from COSI about positive manifestations of Saturn-Pluto:
Tenacity and toughness, endurance, capability to make record efforts of the highest possible order, ability to perform the most difficult work with extreme self-discipline. Magicians and adepts.
Well—when it comes to Sidereal Astrology, I consider Jim a magician and adept with his brilliant research into the branch of Sidereal Astrology. And, I am going to attempt to take Jim's Sidereal Mundane Astrology teachings with his 'adept' Super Bowl Report and endeavor to channel in a fun (Moon-Jupiter) recreational manner for my great friend and myself some magical Sidereal Mundane Astrology, with the objective of winning a large football pool for my friend and some extra $ for my bank account and friend's bank account. If successful my friend and I will extend our fun with a trip to Vegas on Super Bowl weekend. IMO, this is how I am “reacting” to my Natal Saturn-Pluto on my SSR angles. Even if my friend and I fail with our football speculative objectives—we are going to have some partying fun! :D

I am leaving on a road trip for a few days for parties and some recreational gambling with a football game Nov 9. I have a benefic SLR and Ennead covering this time frame, and a great Venus transit on party/game/gambling day Nov 9. Also a double whammy of angular Venus with a Natal Quotidian on party/game day. But t. Saturn partile 90 my Natal Mercury on party/game day, could swing either way benefic/malefic. I am hoping this Saturn transit to my Natal Mercury is symbolizing positive things instead of Saturn yuck things. Ebertin says in COSI about positive Mercury-Saturn:
Principle: Depth of thought, mental work.

(Sidereal Mundane Astrology and electing the days for this road trip with the techniques of Sidereal Astrology.)
Psychological Correspondence: (+) Logical thinking, thoroughness, concentration, ability to come straight to the point, ability to organize, the application of method with philosophical thinking.
(Sidereal Mundane Astrology/Sidereal Astrology and helping my friend plan his parties and his football wagers.)
Probable Manifestation: (+) opportunity to travel.

(My friend is paying all my expenses for this road trip to his home town. Its an 'opportunity' for me to practice Sidereal Astrology with planned events/incidents). :)

It was a great road trip with all activities planned using timing charts of Sidereal Astrology starting first with the SSR, and then using Sidereal Mundane Astrology for winning $ with some recreational gambling. “Timing is Everything.” :)

Really not much more to tell Arena which I have not already explained in this thread. The main point: My best friend was visiting me a couple of weeks before my new SSR set-up and presented me with certain proposals to help him plan some parties and make some wagers involving college football. I immediately knew by looking at my SSR with the partile Moon-Jupiter 180 and his cycles, we were going to have some great times ahead. And with my friend's proposal to me it was a great opportunity for me to execute with my experienced knowledge of Sidereal Astrology the right TIMES using certain charts and Sidereal Mundane Astrology for us to have loads of fun. :) It was a special time for us involving my two best friends in my life---my wife and my friend I met the first day I was in college. :)

My best friend and I are about to wrap-up a fun packed gambling joint venture with this football season started with my 2019 SSR. So far it has been a most successful recreational sports gambling venture using exclusively Sidereal Mundane Astrology with Jim's Super Bowl Report. If the Kansas City Chiefs win the AFC Championship this Sunday--our joint gambling venture will become even more successful. Kansas City has the most benefic 2020 Capsolar including transits I have ever seen for a team playing in a Championship game. So far, my 2019 SSR has been a Moon-Jupiter blast shared with my best friend :D !

My friend and I will not be betting on this Super Bowl, the SMA indicators are too mixed. Our joint football betting venture has been the most successful betting year ever. We are banking our winnings! Without a doubt, my SSR partile Moon-Jupiter in this 2019 solar year has certainly timed this most successful football betting year for my friend and I.

But of much more importance to me and my friend's possible future financial endeavors was my discovery of the Oct 30 2020 DSLR in the NYSE. This discovery will only become super important to me and my friend personally if Bernie Sanders wins the Dem nominee; otherwise its no big deal. If Bernie wins Dem Nominee, I will post my friend's charts for the Nov election, particularly his SQ charts for the 3 days after the Nov 3 election, since my friend will be making all the possible trade decisions for a possible Sanders Prez.

Not to sound grumpy about this but....

Sure sounds like a game being played depending on who is elected.
If socialist Sanders is elected people with big money and businesses are gonna scramble and shuffle and offshore so that thier pie isnt taken.

My grandchildrens future is at stake as well as a billion other people and it seems like our gov is just a parlay game to zillioaires to pound thier chest and grunt that they picked the winning side. And if they didnt they only lost enough scratch so they cant buy an extra Island resort so who cares anyways.

Yes V, IMO, if US votes socialist with Sanders, and particularly with a possible Dem Senate which most think is highly unlikely, this will be deemed the most stunning/shocking financial event to be encountered by the entire world. It will have a high % for a huge psychological impact on the NYSE--at least for the short term. But there is no need for any of us to become alarmed until we see IF Bernie wins Dem Nominee. The main point I am trying to make about my 2019 SSR with the Moon-Jupiter is not about a Moon-Jupiter winning football season with my friend---but with the main event manifested from my 2019 SSR so far, is the realization about charts/cycles with NYSE and the possibility of Bernie winning Prez---with the possibilities of what my friend would be able to do with some some very low risk-high reward trades. To put this into a better perspective: If Bernie wins Dem Nominee/Prez-- it is 100 fold more important to my friend and I to possible financial rewards than the excellent $ rewards we had with this football season. I will know for sure if Bernie happens to win Dem Nominee before this SSR is over.

Now that football (betting) season is over, I will be turning my full speculative attention to the NYSE with my Moon-Jupiter themed 2019 SSR.

When you have prominent structures in a SSR per Jim's SSR teachings, IMO, you need to follow closely your SLRs & DSLRs for planed times with important activity, particularly the one's which feature 'outstanding incidents' structures per Jim's following words with Return Charts:
It is when angularity and aspect partility coincide that outstanding incidents are most likely to come about.
And then, IMO, you need to remember Donald Bradley's words from his book Solar & Lunar Returns:
Lunar returns while more powerful in immediate effect, are subservient to the preceding solar return.
So far into my 2019 solar year, my significant aspected benefic lunar returns have manifested in the context of my main themed Moon-Jupiter 2019 SSR. However, I had an 'outstanding incident' SLR last Dec which manifested outside the context of my main themed Moon-Jupiter SSR, but later events happened which smoothed my rough Dec SLR back into an accentuated Moon-Jupiter theme with my current SSR.

And never forget: If it was not for the great historical research Cyril Fagan (the true father of modern Sidereal Astrology) did with Solar Returns in the Sidereal Zodiac, most serious astrologers would not have been able to accurately compute a Solar or Lunar Return. This was the main reason Solar Returns lost their importance for 2,000 years—they were computed inaccurately in the Tropical Zodiac (without precession correction), which computed the wrong degree of the angles and moon.

And then never forget Jim's words from his book 'Interpreting Solar Returns':
The Solar Return is the basis of the most powerful forecasting system presently known to astrological technology. When accompanied by certain accessory techniques, the Solar Return is capable of specifying events with great clarity and acuity.

Our Lunar Returns (SLRs/DSLRs) allows us to help plan and time important stuff for our lives throughout the solar year when we have a prominent themed SSR per Jim's teaching guidelines.

I summarized and restated this for my Returns class as follows:

It seems Solar Returns are most important for setting a baseline for the year, against which Lunar Returns operate.

A markedly good SSR means that the year (with its ups and downs) will overall function at a higher / better / kinder level.
-- Compare this to the stock market overall rising, even though individual days can be up or down within that trend.

A markedly bad SSR means that the year (with its ups and downs) will overall function at a lower / poorer / harsher level.
-- Compare this to the stock market overall falling, even though individual days can be up or down within that trend.

So true Jim. When one can clearly isolate a main theme with their Solar Returns, the Lunar Returns are very valuable timing tools for choosing times throughout the solar year for the baseline of the Solar Return to extend its main theme if clearly identified. IMO, the Lunar Returns helps us make better timing choices and final decisions for our lives depending on the baseline of the Solar Return. When our conscious gets in sync with a possible main theme in a Solar Return and then looks to the lunars to time things, the lunars become very important astrological tools for the Sidereal Astrologer.

Donald Bradley wrote a most important book for the Siderealist with his words in Solar & Lunar Returns, but IMO, the most important words in his entire book are reduced to the following two simple sentences:
Lunar returns while more powerful in immediate effect, are subservient to the preceding solar return. Therefore, we must look to the lunar return for proof that lunar returns usually “time” the major occurrences foreshadowed in the solar return.
