LONG-TERM (Solar Ingresses)
(Summarized from my original interpretation in the January 15 forecast.) For the U.S., the 12 months beginning January 15, 2020 are dominated by Uranus on Eastpoint mundanely square a Sun-Saturn-Pluto conjunction at Midheaven. This difficult year will have more challenges than blessings and sets up even more severe patterns for 2021. Much of what follows is an accurate description of the life-conditions brought on by the coronavirus pandemic and civil outrage experienced thus far this year.
  • Uranus: Surprises, sudden ruptures or eruption, shock, revelation, overflowing of limits and boundaries, surprise attacks, changes in foreign relations or leadership, riots and revolts.
  • Sun, Saturn, and Pluto are the main story: This year will be a horrible struggle with great damage along the way. It seems astrologically inconceivable that Trump's presidency will survive the year.
  • Saturn-Pluto: Hardship including catastrophic disasters laying waste to a landscape, feeling irrevocable loss or separation, an apocalyptic time, even (in the extreme) the downfall of cities and nations.
  • Sun-Saturn-Pluto across Florida, New Orleans, and coastal Mississippi: Devastating hurricanes this year, after the fashion of Hurricane Andrew. Mars through Santa Barbara County sparks unusually severe fire. See the maps.
  • Sun-Saturn: Sad, arduous events; death or restraint of leaders; government gridlock; restrictive, controlling, or failing government that causes or worsens disaster, fiscal crisis, structural collapses, natural disasters, events requiring government oversight and response.
  • Sun-Pluto: Diverse possibilities from natural disasters to political confrontation; removing or assailing those in power, rebelling against conventions, disrespect for and disobeying the law.
  • Saturn-Uranus: Bubble-bursting, harsh reality, wide pendulum swings between freedom-restriction, liberality-conservatism, liberty vs. safety, change vs. status quo.
  • Uranus-Pluto: Destabilizing, revolutionary, revising, remapping, anti-establishment, antigovernmental: a spirit of revolution dismantles current systems and tears down existing structures; people ignore, challenge, or reject precedent, custom, convention, and authority.
  • Sun-Uranus: Sudden, startling, explosive, surprise attacks, leadership changes, life-altering technology.
Amidst deep cultural divisions, the nation is hurled closer to a spirit of revolution. As Pluto transitions from Sagittarius to Capricorn, every solar or lunar cardinal ingress through the end of 2003 worldwide will have Sun or Moon conjunct, opposite, or square Pluto.

Arisolar (Apr 14)
Venus square Mars is the single note in the Arisolar: Venus in Taurus rises (0°31'), Mars in Capricorn culminates (1°33'), and Venus squares Mars (1°03' mundo). This means passion in every respect: People feel powerfully about things. In an election year, we expect inflamed passions to prevail over reason across the terrain of political engagement. More broadly, great restlessness sweeps the land, tempers burn short, and selfish wants win out over any greater social mindfulness.

Libsolar (Oct 17)
20201017 LiSol.jpg
Beginning October 17, the United States experiences three months that likely redefine it, rewriting "life as we know it" and paving the way for whatever "new normal" comes after. The Libsolar is foremost shocking and overthrowing of existing structures with great risk to the nation. While conditions are predictably contentious and upsetting, it is impossible to say that they are negative. History likely will have to decide that in decades to come.

Uranus is 1°03' before Ascendant, Pluto 1°07' before Midheaven, and Mercury 1°19' after Descendant. The 0°05 Uranus-Pluto mundane square expresses a destabilizing, revolutionary, revising, and remapping root theme with new conditions unbound by precedent, custom, or convention in which people ignore, challenge, or forcibly reject authority).

For Mercury with Uranus and Pluto, many specific events are possible; but I only know three categories of major events where these aspects are typical: (1) travel catastrophes, especially air crashes; (2) earthshaking disclosures of information; and (3) major technological breakthroughs or (related) radical departures from the way information is processed or handled.

Of these, I most suspect (2) and (3). The best scenario would be a medical breakthrough in halting the COVID-19 pandemic. The worst scenario would be a direct attack on our country (especially cyber-based, possibly the power or information grids) or efforts to overthrow the fundamental structure of our nation.

Events will be harsh with elements of attack because Mars, due east on the prime vertical, makes close PVP squares to Uranus (0°12'), Pluto (0°35'), and Mercury (2°24'). That is, what appears to be a Mercury-Uranus-Pluto combination is actually a Mercury-Mars-Uranus-Pluto combination. Reinforcing these, Moon conjoins Mercury and opposes Uranus.

Sun is most angular (WP 0°46'). The easiest conclusion is that events center specifically on the presidential elections nearing their climax. Sun's closest aspects are a mundane opposition to Mars (0°09') and ecliptical square to Saturn (0°36'). Sun has further aspects to Jupiter and Pluto. If angular Sun refers directly to the president or his office, these aspects weigh heavily against him, suggesting war (more than the usual election season competition) that expels him from office. An alternative meaning is that the heart of the nation itself is attacked by foes assailing the American identity. (I know of no way to distinguish these two meanings of Sun.)

Subtleties are expressed by Mars square Jupiter, Pluto conjunct Jupiter and Saturn, and Moon square Saturn mundo. I fear much of the impact of this chart will be a severe flu season compounding a new COVID-19 wave as scientists have forecast. At least one significant area of effect is the political - hopefully with Moon-Mercury-Mars-Uranus-Pluto signifying disclosure of information useful to our reinvention rather than subversion of our electoral system.

MEDIUM-TERM (The Bridge)
After 10/3, October's one simple marker is transiting Saturn conjunct Capsolar MC all month. In February, this transit marked the collapse of the stock market and the discovery that COVID-19 was racing through the populace. We've likely seen the same characteristics of death, hardship, and failure through September. They will persist or worsen through October.

Mars backs into Pisces 10/1. With Mars in Pisces earlier this year, we saw increased virulence (intensification of disease and toxic behavior, hotbeds of infection, seething hurtfulness); unhealed wounds open and festering (e.g., racial violence and outrage); betrayals, back-stabbing, back-biting insinuation, passionate lying; and the very Piscean theme of wearing masks. -- Summaries of longer-term trends from outer planet sign transits are here.

SHORT-TERM (Lunar Ingresses)

Liblunar (Sep 19)
20200919 LiLun.jpg
The Liblunar covers two weeks, September 19 to October 3. Moon aspects Saturn (0°23'), Pluto (0°29'), and Mars (2°27'): People are still adapting to the consequences of Mars-volatilized Saturn-Pluto. These, combined with angular Neptune (WP 0°12'), leave a macabre feeling of piling up corpses for counting. The combination adds anxiety, disorientation, heightened emotion, and deep "what happens next" uncertainty.

Caplunar (Sep 25)
The dormant Caplunar continues (worldwide) Moon aspects to Saturn (0°19'), Mars (1°17'), and Pluto (2°31'), so hardship, hurt, and loss continue worldwide.
  • 9/29: CanQ MC sq. s Moon-Venus.
  • 10/1. CapQ MC sq. t Jupiter. CanQ Asc conj. s Mercury.
Arilunar (Oct 3)
20201003 ArLun.jpg
The Arilunar covers the week October 3-10. Saturn on Descendant (2°32') squares non-foreground Mars (0°55'). Moon conjoins Mars (0°36') and squares Saturn (0°19'). Sun squares Saturn (0°41' mundo); both aspect Pluto. These aspects show much destruction, harm, cruelty, pain, and sadness. Even in the best of times, from these aspects we would forecast terrible things (and 2020 is hardly the best of times).

Also, even in the best of times a partile Sun-Saturn square on angles would warn of risks to the U.S. president. The threat might be generalized to the government or deflected to a national leader-hero, but the focus is usually on the president personally. This threat climaxes about October 6-8. (With Moon-Mars, the threat could be physical danger; or it might be a political threat.) Moon-Mars-Saturn-Pluto (with a bit of Jupiter) matches the psychological tone of war and decimation, though the actual events may be something else that feels the same.
  • 10/4: CanQ MC conj. t Neptune.
  • 10/6: CapQ MC sq. t/s Pluto, s Saturn, op. t Mars. CanQ MC conj. s Neptune. CanQ Asc sq. s Mars.
  • 10/8: CapQ MC sq. t Saturn, s Sun [t Saturn conj. s Sun].
Canlunar (Oct 10)
20201010 CnLun.jpg
The Canlunar (shown in azimuth) covers the week October 10-16. It's a bad week. People freak out. Uncertainty reigns. In the absence of information, people make things up, filling in the gaps. Outright deception may be part of it. Uneasiness, ignorance, and alarm heighten the sense of threat.

Transiting Neptune on IC (2°11') exaggerates everyone's reactions, displaces reason, and intensifies anxiety. Moon aspects Mars, Saturn, and Pluto worldwide. Additionally, we have the azimuth patterns shown above: Moon opposite Jupiter-Pluto across the prime vertical axis, square Neptune near the meridian.

Natural disasters may cause this anxious mental state, as can theatrical politics. Events are belief-driven and may have overt religious elements. In the Middle East, these aspects routinely mark faith-fueled terrorism.

In Miami, where a presidential debate occurs 10/15, Neptune is on IC and Venus squares Ascendant. It seems the debate will be enjoyable entertainment.
  • 10/15: CapQ MC op. s Uranus.
Liblunar (Oct 16)
The Liblunar covers the week October 16-22. Neptune, again, is most angular (rising 2°55'), partile opposite setting Venus. Moon squares Saturn (0°34') and Pluto, conjoins Sun and Mercury, and opposes Mars. Much is the same as last week, but, with voting underway, attention is even more fiercely centered on the president, national leadership, polls, statistics, rapidly updated news, and anything involving counting, tabulating, data management, and the media.

Venus-Neptune signifies intense devotion, compelling fantasy, role-playing, disillusionment, betrayed alliances, perceived offenses, diplomatic embarrassment, or loss of esteem. Which of these themes will dominate the news this week? With such hurtful lunar aspects, we should remember that Venus-Neptune is the most distinctive aspect for national impact mass murders.

The final presidential debate occurs 10/22 in Nashville, a few hours before the next Caplunar occurs. The Liblunar is dormant for Nashville, while the Canlunar has Venus on Midheaven. This is surprisingly upbeat and evidently means that the event will bring pleasure, e.g., is primarily entertaining.
  • 10/16: CapQ Asc conj. s Jupiter. CanQ Asc op. t Jupiter.
  • 10/17: CanQ Asc sq. t Mars.
  • 10/20: CanQ Asc op. s Jupiter.
  • 10/21: CanQ Asc op. t Pluto.

Trump Watch

Post by Jim Eshelman » Thu Nov 21, 2019 7:48 pm

PROGRESSIONS & DIRECTIONS
Progressed Moon squares natal Uranus all month, exact October 20 (the embodiment of an "October surprise"). Extreme revelations and disclosures are afoot. I doubt this is to his benefit since progressed Moon aspects progressed Saturn all month.

Long-running progressions continue: p Saturn conj. p L MC (weight, demands, & loss centered in Washington); p Mars sx. r Pluto & p Mars ssq. r Mars (contentious); p Sun-Venus ssq. (celebrity); and p Mercury sx. r Jupiter and r Uranus (surprising luck and success in business and cutting deals). Mercury-Uranus is exact (0°00') in late September, just as this period begins, suggesting surprising revelations or ingenuity coming forth from him. -- Mercury-Jupiter leaves orb at the end of January, 2021 and Mercury-Uranus in May 2021.

SIDEREAL LUNAR RETURN (Sep 23)
No natal or transiting planet is close to angles. President Trump may not be in Washington when it sets up. With transiting Neptune and natal Uranus both weakly foreground, one aspect - transiting Neptune square natal Uranus (0°18') - provides the main message of the chart.

For most people, this transit marks two years when a temptation or dream inspires them to leap, make changes, and alter their life course. It always shows fantasy colliding with reality. Garth Allen called the aspect "Freedom From Conscience," under which influence, "it seems that nobody gives a damn about what is right or wrong, rather asking if it is convenient." We have seen this behavior routinely from Donald Trump and it surely will come to a head now. Neptune-Uranus will be exact October 4 and then, for the final time, on the most portentous of days, January 20, 2021 - the date of the next presidential inauguration when transiting Pluto opposes his Saturn exactly for the third of five times and transiting Saturn sesqui-squares natal Uranus - three heavy planet transits exact 0°00' the same day!

The 9/29 presidential debate occurs during this period with Neptune-Uranus the strongest influence.

Background partile aspects take on greater importance, given the lack of strong angular activity. Foremost of these is a Mercury-Saturn square (0°03') partile square natal Saturn. Mundanely, Mars exactly aspects Mercury-Saturn, adding belligerence (no surprise) and ferocity of attack. Under these aspects, things go wrong, communication breaks down, and snafus occur at the very least.

This level of psychological pressure brings out the worst side of a person. With Mars and Saturn also aspecting natal Venus (partile), the attacks he unleashes (whether on the nation's problems or his political opponents) bring no compassion to the table and leave him feeling friendless and abandoned. His psyche is under increasingly unbearable stress, his personal resources diminished.

SIDEREAL DEMI-LUNAR RETURN (Oct 7)
President Trump seems very much on his game! A transiting Mercury-Uranus opposition (0°06' wide) crosses the Eastpoint axis. Natal Mars squares Ascendant within 1°. The simplest reading is that he is competitive, quick, astute, and ready to surprise people. (At the very least, he is at risk of spraining both his thumbs.)

A completely different reading is that these two weeks mark discoveries, disclosures, and revelations that draw out the fight in him. This is actually more consistent with the SLR of which this demi-return is a subset (and with the overlapping Arilunar and quotidian crossings).

Supplemental aspects do not clarify which way this goes. Jupiter, Saturn, and Pluto aspect his Jupiter, all partile, bringing mixed messages. The race may begin to tighten. The next debate is October 15 in Miami, but the relocated return gives no strong messages about that.

SIDEREAL LUNAR RETURN (Oct 20)
Mercury-Uranus continues (even strengthens) as the chief theme. Transiting Mercury and Uranus are opposed within 0°31' with both planets closely foreground. This aspect always signals discoveries, disclosures, and revelations, surprising news, mental enlivening, and excitement. With an afflicted rising Jupiter square anticulminating Uranus (1°10') these look to be to his advantage, probably through unethical or even illegal means.

Transiting and natal Mercury are the most angular planets, though - each about 1° from an angle (in 2° mundane square). We can certainly expect, in the last weeks before the election, that Trump will be talking talking talking and tweeting tweeting tweeting: This pair of Mercuries places an extreme emphasis on information flow.

The rest of the (widely) foreground planets mix benefics and malefics. Among these, though, two partile foreground aspects weigh against him: Transiting Pluto (0°42') and Saturn (0°43') mundanely oppose natal Saturn (which, to the minute, is at their midpoint). Both transits undercut his position and confront him with the direct consequences of his actions.

The final presidential debate is in Nashville October 22. For Nashville Sun is at Midheaven; both Sun and Midheaven square Saturn. The focus is solidly on him personally, his identity, and his presidential character, yet the focus is negative, even punishing. Natal Neptune, 1° from Zenith, squares natal Mercury setting: Dishonesty and persuasion are foremost in his behavior. Saturn-Pluto opposite natal Saturn, one of the worst aspects of the SLR, is across Eastpoint. Bottom line, this debate hurts him.

The Biden Report

Post by Jim Eshelman » Sun Jul 26, 2020 12:27 pm

SIDEREAL LUNAR RETURN (Sep 6)
Sep 5 to Oct 3. Transiting Jupiter is 4° from IC. If Biden is in or near Wilmington when this sets up, it promises a positive, winning time of receiving esteem, respect recognition and general positive regard and advantage. Fundraising should go well. A partile Moon-Venus mundane square adds popularity, affection, and happiness.

SIDEREAL DEMI-LUNAR RETURN (Sep 19)
Sep 18 to Oct 3. The general tone is upbeat. September 29 is the first presidential debate in Cleveland. Vice President Biden's checklist in preparing should be to stay in Wilmington ten days earlier when this Demi-SLR occurs. It's strongest feature is natal Venus (0°04') and Sun (1°10') square SLR Ascendant, portraying him as presidential and charming.

Besides natal Sun conjunct Venus angular, transiting Venus conjoins natal Pluto (1°20' mundo). By now, we know that it coincided with the death of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg: It may have other, personal meaning for him. The aspect typically marks turning points in relationships (positive, negative, or neutral), e.g., either a personal loss crisis or enhanced charisma and popularity. For Cleveland, the aspect is angular: Natal Pluto setting (0°57') means that the time he is there will redefine his current life in some fundamental sense. Transiting Venus 2°39' below Descendant puts a positive spin - affection and popularity - on the critical event.

SIDEREAL LUNAR RETURN (Oct 3)
Oct 2-30. The chart for Wilmington is an assault on Biden's Jupiter, which usually means his esteem, public standing, honors, and the influx of cash. This is a tough chart for the month people start voting nationwide.

Natal Jupiter is 1°11' below Descendant, which normally would be good; but transiting Saturn (1°36' above Asc) and Pluto (stationary, 2°51' above Asc) oppose his Jupiter. (Saturn-Jupiter is 0°25'.) This aspect hasn't always been fatal to him (he was nominated president under it), and transiting Jupiter is also moderately foreground; but, overall, Saturn-Jupiter reduces status and standing.

His voice has a receptive audience, though: Natal Mercury is on MC (3°) and Moon opposes transiting Mercury (0°37' mundo).

For Miami (where a presidential debate occurs 10/15), the Saturn-Jupiter angularity is reduced, natal Mars culminates (he's ready to battle), and Moon squares Ascendant 0°32' (signifying publicity and a responsive public face).

SIDEREAL DEMI-LUNAR RETURN (Oct 17)
Oct 16-30. Transiting Venus squares MC within 0°10' in Wilmington. Transiting Neptune sets within 0°19'. Venus and Neptune are in close mundane square. There is an old saying that "Venus-Neptune never hurts while it's going on." It's not universally true, but it tends to be true. Whether "love drunk" in romantic thralldom or immersed in enchantment, fantasy, or vision, Venus-Neptune marks an absorption in pleasure. When it does coincide with pain (whether during or after the aspect's term) is when it ends in disillusionment or embarrassment, what Donald Bradley called a "hurt inside" that drives us home alone in self-pity, dazed by an unhappy turn of events.

So... the outcome of this really rests on whether Biden's vision is realistic. He is clearly enchanted for these two weeks. He seems able to bring significant emotional force, even enthusiasm. How we feels when it's over depends on whether it's all just a fantasy. It's a surprisingly light mood following what must have been a hard first two weeks of the SLR month so far.

On 10/22, the final Presidential debate occurs in Nashville. For that location, transiting Venus and Neptune remain foreground (but widely). The strongest planet, though, is natal Uranus, 2°36' off Midheaven. (Natal Sun, Venus, and Saturn are also foreground.) He surprises us - probably pleasingly, since Uranus' closest aspect is its opposition to natal Venus. However, he does not get through it without having to give up something dear to him, shown by transiting Venus square natal Saturn (2°11' mundo).

Geographic areas centered on map lines have a roughly 150-200 mile leeway (3°) for strong effects. For these mappings of planetary energies, see standard interpretations in Chapter 8 of Sidereal Mundane Astrology. (A link to the free current edition can always be found near the top of the Publications sub-forum.) Readers may wish to consider all planet lines and intersections against the standard interpretations.

Transits to Capsolar Planets

Post by Jim Eshelman » Sun Jul 26, 2020 12:29 pm

Transits to Capsolar planets are important identifiers for locales where the 'natal' planet was angular in the Capsolar, or where it spins to a CapQ angle at the time of the aspect.

Outer planet sign transits

Post by Jim Eshelman » Sat Aug 22, 2020 2:31 pm

Pluto in Sagittarius (2005-2021)
Rising cultural waves rejecting or seeking to overthrow traditional Sagittarian themes, which in turn arouse retaliatory assertion or intensification of those ideas. The battlegrounds for these polarized struggles include the overthrow of cultural institutions in general; rejection of imperialism, elitism, economic disparity, abusive taxation, and traditional forms of religion, and academia (with consequent aggressive protection and re-assertion of these things). Efforts to overthrow existing culture (whether one's own culture or that of an enemy), generally rooted in religious fundamentalism, cultural chauvinism, or ideas of racial purity.

More positively, revolutionary developments in the areas of religion and philosophy. Very substantial advances in energy production (primarily for far-reaching travel and exploration, imperialism and exploitation, and the support of commerce through greater energy production). Science supporting more industrial power and laying the foundation for broader and faster travel.

Neptune in Aquarius (2009-2023)
Suppressed or diffused social progressiveness, squashed rebellions, deranged concepts of liberty, all setting the stage for a future conflict or breakthrough after the transit is over. Imagined new vistas and possibilities without current capacity to reach or manage them. Roused socialist-leaning liberalism. Failure of universalism, futurism, or true enlightenment to flourish. Shortage of dispassionate clarity, fostered ignorance.

This transit reflects living in a time when most people feel like we are living in a science fiction wonderland, "imagining the inconceivable." Change happens so fast, technical progress accelerating far beyond any vision prior generations had to the 21st century (provided it doesn't involve transportation). One aspect of this is increased complexity with life changing faster than neurology can grasp, manage, and keep up. It has fostered technological surveillance and loss of privacy.

Uranus in Aries (2017-2025)
A volatile time politically. Issues of economics, government, and accelerated armament. Great challenges to the stability of existing alliances: Acute polarization splits former allies (individuals, social groups, or nations) along new axes. Widespread dissatisfaction fuels repudiation of historic closely held views and values. Each such era, while people are passing through it, feels like a transitions between a concluding old cycle and an opening new cycle.

An unyielding, unremitting sense of emergency exists, then autocratic governance increases. Extraordinary autocratic power is yielded (voluntarily granted) to national leaders, who acquire increasing dominion of economic and social issues. Armament, safety, going one's way alone without the encumbrances of alliances... these win out over the demand for personal liberty and social equality. The masses seem more comfortable with an authoritarian father figure to "make everything OK." Absent a state of war, there me be a suspension of checks and balances on autocracy normal to martial law.

Increased polarization and struggle between opposing extremes - each historic period has its own example, whether it be arising fascism vs. socialism (or political elements that, if more extreme, would have emerged as overtly fascist or socialist, extremism of right vs. left), opposing views on slavery, Catholic vs. Protestant wars, etc. Economics (especially trade) are unstable, in a precarious balance. Economics policies become more nationalistic and autistic, increasingly protective, to defend against trade inequities and competition imbalances. Extreme unrest in economically hurting populations.

Saturn in Capricorn (Jan 2020 - Jan 2023)
Individual and political struggles for survival, autonomy, and self-sufficiency. Land & space: Shortages of land and secure space, redefining boundaries; territorial acquisitions and annexations, mineral rights, mining conflicts; walls, embargoes, spatial segregation, splitting historically separate countries into autonomous nations. Earth & water crises: Ecological concerns regarding climate change; land- and water-based retaliations by the Earth against destabilizing climate change; volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, no-warning fire outbreaks; water and land rights and conservation. Hunger, food-security, and dwelling issues including crop failures and famine; further crumbling of farming as a viable livelihood; hunger may be weaponized (or may be addressed aggressively). Earth-mindful rebellion religions thrive, including renewal and empowerment of paganism. Major finance developments: Vast financial institutional restructuring and management, especially favoring capitalism. Changes in how we collectively control money and commerce including bedrock foundations, controls, and financial restructuring; institutions aimed at money security are created or strengthened; long-standing economic hardship and social disenfranchisement boil over. Fear: Focus on how we manage and respond to it. Disabilities and misfortune draw focus: "Inferiority" (so-called) more visible; disability and genetic bigotry; widespread civil liberties conflicts and civil rights resistance activism. Relief from the arts and laughter.

Jupiter in Capricorn or Sagittarius (Apr 2020 - Nov 2021)
(Under development.)

Re: Trump Watch

Post by Jim Eshelman » Sun Sep 27, 2020 2:41 pm

https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/202 ... -taxes.htm

New York Times has acquired Trump's tax return information for more than 20 years. As I've expected all along, they show a pattern of chronic losses and/or tax avoidance. - That is, either he is one of the worst businessmen anywhere or he routinely lied on his tax returns.
NYT wrote:Mr. Trump’s finances are under stress, beset by losses that he aggressively employs to avoid paying taxes, and hundreds of millions in debt that he has personally guaranteed, which comes due in the coming years. He paid $750 in federal income taxes in 2016, and nothing in 10 of the previous 15 years — largely because he reported losing much more money than he made. Also hanging over him is an audit battle that he has long been waging, out of public view, with the I.R.S. An adverse ruling could cost him more than $100 million.

SIDEREAL LUNAR RETURN (Sep 23)
...one aspect - transiting Neptune square natal Uranus (0°18') - provides the main message of the chart... It always shows fantasy colliding with reality. Garth Allen called the aspect "Freedom From Conscience," under which influence, "it seems that nobody gives a damn about what is right or wrong, rather asking if it is convenient." We have seen this behavior routinely from Donald Trump and it surely will come to a head now...

This level of psychological pressure brings out the worst side of a person... His psyche is under increasingly unbearable stress, his personal resources diminished.

Do you think these aspects are consistent with Trump's testing positive for coronavirus, and getting treated for it?
He also has t.Mars squaring his Saturn throughout this week.

If he becomes seriously symptomatic, I think the the partile angularity of natal Mars in his October 7 Demi-Lunar will be the main indication.

I think the non-stop Mercury-Uranus of the next month is a picture of news about this (in contrast to his getting sick) or, of course, more leaked tax information etc. I think the Mercury-Mars-Saturn of the current lunar is primarily his behavior at the debate. I'd love to say that, aha!, Mars-Saturn and he got sick, but I don't think a background aspect is going to do that (unless this is a really mild, even asymptomatic case that boils down to a nuisance).

I'm not sure, though, that his contracting the disease would show in his chart in too obvious a way. It's not in his experience (awareness) - it's invisible to him until he becomes symptomatic. Filtering the time of contracting the disease from the time of being sick (symptomatic) is the key to understanding it correctly, I think. There could be some "hidden agent" factor - another expression of the very obscure Neptune transit to Uranus, which is the one strong factor in the SLR. Mostly, though, if this is going to be a bad case, then we need to look at his chart for a few days from now such as the Demi-SLR he'll be feeling by Tuesday.

The chart that shows his sickness best is tomorrow's Arilunar. (Again, I hold that the "event" isn't there until he is symptomatic:

Arilunar (Oct 3)
Saturn on Descendant (2°32') squares non-foreground Mars (0°55'). Moon conjoins Mars (0°36') and squares Saturn (0°19'). Sun squares Saturn (0°41' mundo); both aspect Pluto. These aspects show much destruction, harm, cruelty, pain, and sadness....

Also, even in the best of times a partile Sun-Saturn square on angles would warn of risks to the U.S. president... This threat climaxes about October 6-8. (With Moon-Mars, the threat could be physical danger; or it might be a political threat.)...

My thoughts exactly, Jim.

True. That makes a lot of sense.

Very interesting, Jim. 8-) Thank you for your input and for writing the forecasts for the next few months in advance.

Libsolar (Oct 17)
For Mercury with Uranus and Pluto, many specific events are possible; but I only know three categories of major events where these aspects are typical: (1) travel catastrophes, especially air crashes; (2) earthshaking disclosures of information; and (3) major technological breakthroughs or (related) radical departures from the way information is processed or handled...

There's another possibility which I hadn't considered (hadn't gotten the syntax right): A governmental attack ON technology. This morning, The DOJ announced it is launching a formal antitrust attack on Google, the largest governmental assault on a tech company since the Microsoft antitrust suit of the '90s.

I don't think this is the whole force of the Libsolar, which is too big of a chart for so narrow expression; but I do think it's an exact expression of the strongest, most complex structure in the chart (and a great confirmation of PVP aspects: The attack on Moon-Mercury-Uranus would not have been at all evident without Mars' PVP squares).
