The next U.S. administration

Post by Jim Eshelman » Thu May 11, 2017 6:31 pm

Regardless of who wins the presidency in November, we will have the Capsolars that nature has in store for us. The new president will not determine what's before us so much as manage what's coming down the road. What does it all look like?

2017 Capsolar
Sun Jupiter (Uranus). Sun-Jupiter Jupiter-Uranus.

2018 Capsolar
Uranus Pluto (Sun Venus). Moon-Mercury-Saturn Sun-Venus-Uranus.

2019 Capsolar
Sun Uranus (Mercury Saturn Pluto). Mercury-Saturn.

2020 Capsolar
Uranus (Sun Mercury Saturn Pluto). Sun-Mercury Sun-Saturn-Uranus-Pluto

If the 2016-elected president serves a second term, the following also will apply. Notice that it starts off rather badly:

2021 Capsolar
Moon Mercury Mars Saturn (Jupiter Saturn Uranus). Mo/Me Moon-Mars-Uranus Mercury-Jupiter Mars-Jupiter-Saturn-Uranus.

2022 Capsolar
Pluto (Sun Mercury). Moon-Mars-Neptune Sun-Pluto.

2023 Capsolar
(Dormant.) Moon-Pluto.

2024 Capsolar
Jupiter (Uranus). Moon-Venus Moon-Neptune.

It's clear that the best years of the eight are the first and the last; and that the second four years are much harsher and more severe than the first four (but we come out of it OK).

Viewing the planets overall, the entire time seems volatile. The most active planets in the entire series of Capsolars are Uranus (4 times) supported by Mars and Pluto (three times each). These are volatile, explosive, violent, etc. (Uranus and Pluto are crossing into a new Rim sign each, so they will dominate luminary aspects in solar and lunar ingresses for several of these years,)

There is also a much higher presence of Saturn than in the last 8 years, but in many cases it is not immediately at the angles. Nonetheless, it is a present factor most years.

I'm also uncomfortable that Mars and Neptune are the only Moon aspects occurring more than once.

We are coming into more severe times... but only after 2017,which is a splendid year.

For another venue (by Facebook "public figure fan page"), I wrote up a forecast for the next four years, and posted it today. Here it is:

No matter who wins this year’s presidential race, astrology lets us know the basics of what the next four years will be like. I can tell you now that the best year of the next presidential term will be the first, 2017; and the last three, in the best and worst sense, will be very interesting times. Especially 2018-2020 seem volatile with continued destabilization and ferocity. Times are explosive and violent. Nonetheless – and this is important – these next four years begin with one of the strongest, best, most positive sets of energies in decades. After an extraordinarily harsh last quarter of 2016 (mid-October to mid-January is kinda scary), the year beginning January 15, 2017 is extraordinarily positive – a splendid year. The term should get off to a good start.

And… enjoy it while you can. Build up the reserves now. The three years following (2021-2023) are some of the harshest and worst, with world-wide indications of emotional violence and unreason centering severity and loss on the United States (among other places). We need to develop our best “2020 vision” right now, and keep our sensors alert, because the half-decade will be one of the worst history records of the 21st century. – And then, of course, that will pass, and we move on to what comes next, beginning with a particularly positive 2024.

YEAR BEGINNING 1/14/17. Sun, Jupiter, and Uranus mingle themes of national pride and dignity – virtually of royalty and enthronement – with the most liberal waves in our national chart for decades. Socially and technologically, it will seem like we’re living in a science fiction world: Technologically because new tech, new tech vision, and general “good science” dominate the news; socially SciFi, because the tone is equalitarian prosperity arising from oligarchical command. Civil rights victories (victories of liberty) flourish, though only after struggle (since ideological rebels and traditionalists continue to fight it out). Watch the magician’s other hand, though: All of this brought to you by people with money and power… who ultimately want more of both.

YEAR BEGINNING 7/17/17. (These will be overlapping years, starting 6 months apart.) The Jupiter-dominated indications are more purely beneficent. This implies victories (e.g., major military victories and athletic wins); diplomacy and peace; and heightened prosperity, economic expansion, and a spirit of abundance, celebration, and national pride. Events, if not purely political or economic, often will center on religion, powerful inspiration, and visionary movements and moments (which always brings the shadow side of rampant ideology and belief-driven politics and excesses).

YEAR BEGINNING 1/15/18. Uranus & Pluto dominate, resuming trends that are revolutionary, revising, remapping, anti-establishment, & anti-government: a spirit of revolution that seeks to dismantle current systems & tear down iconic structures. With this are competing themes: A Sun-Venus-Uranus trio most powerfully speaks of shifting social values (including increased liberty in Venus matters) and events of high social/cultural impact (“You’ll always remember where you were when…”); and substantial changes in relationships with other nations. Events are psychologically (often physically) startling and explosive. A concurrent (world-impacting) Moon-Mercury-Saturn trio forecasts hardship, sacrifice, loss, sadness (e.g., war, public bereavement). Sharp shift from a time of elevated prosperity to one of deprivation, even of suppression.

YEAR BEGINNING 7/17/18. Supplementing and overlapping the above are minor trends, primarily from a rising Moon. This primarily shows powerful, strongly-felt response by the people (the collective masses), the herd’s collective will surging upward powerfully from mass mind and often manifesting as collective populist embracing of a focus or issue. (A minor touch of Saturn suggests this arises from honestly felt conditions of scarcity, deprivation, and insufficiency.)

YEAR BEGINNING 1/15/19. Sun & Uranus (backed by Mercury-Saturn). Intensified Uranus themes especially center on the psychologically (and often physically) startling and explosive. It’s a year of rapid change on every front – through government action, cultural movements, technology, standing out from the already accelerated change pace of our times. Many of these explosive, surprising events involve disclosures and revelations; some will have profound social impact to the point of defining the character of an era. In the best and worst sense, this will be an amazing, distinctive year in which to live! Unfortunately (but perhaps necessarily), such changes arise from hardship, failures, restrictions and delays, (Look for collateral themes of Mercury, especially involving transportation and communication matters.)

YEAR BEGINNING 7/17/19. The overlapping chart emphasizes the Uranus trends, but now affecting the whole world (not just the U.S.). There are minor indications that day-to-day conditions get better in the last half of the year (which also overlaps the first half of next year). Sudden, explosive, eruptive, shifting conditions, continue, including surprise attacks and, especially, rapidly changing conditions that require quick adaptation and reorientation, new learning, and new responses. This can include new technology, new strategic approaches, and the opportunity to witness secrets of nature previously inaccessible to us, as well as civil instability and events marking new levels of human freedom.

YEAR BEGINNNG 1/15/20. Uranus again, so the pace of startling change, revelation, discovery, & explosive impact continues. This time we add a complex Sun-Saturn-Uranus-Pluto combination. Consider what events would mingle these themes: SU-SA: Sad, arduous, demanding events; attacks on leaders, government gridlock/lockdown, suppression, restriction. SU-UR: Psychologically or physically startling and explosive. SU-PL: Removal/assault on those in power, rebellion against existing politics, disrespect for / disobeying the law. SA-UR: “Loss + explosion,” a bubble-bursting forced confrontation with harsh reality. Wide swings between acutely polarized opposites (gridlock). SA-PL: Harsh, dramatic events with deep feelings of irrevocable loss/ separation. UR-PL: Revolutionary, revising, remapping, anti-establish¬ment, anti-government, spirit of revolution that dismantles current systems and tears down iconic structures. (PS – The president’s election to a second term will be an unusually arduous uphill struggle.)

YEAR BEGINNING 7/16/20. And then there is a breath of peace and relief, not for the U.S. alone but affecting the world. A universal Moon-Venus pairing shows (overlapping the prior chart) strong Venus themes predominating, especially involving peace, public happiness, and celebration. Anticipate alliances rather than antipathies. Stories about love will focus and hold the public’s attention more than usual. – This gives a certain protection against most categories of tragedy, including financial crisis, earthquakes, structural collapses, and shooting massacres.

Jupiter Sets At Dawn wrote:I think predictions work better if tied to things we know are going to happen, for instance elections and campaigning.

YEAR BEGINNING 1/14/17. The new president brings in enough senators to bring in the votes to pass legislation, appoint judges. But the Republican governors and state legislatures are still in power.

YEAR BEGINNING 1/15/18. Electioneering starts again. The other party wants back in power and is willing to hold the government hostage to get it.

YEAR BEGINNING 1/15/19. The other party takes control of the government and blows up the economy by pretending the deficit is huge and growing. (Likely the revenge of the ol' white dudes.) It causes a another recession that spreads to the rest of the world.

YEAR BEGINNING 7/17/19. Electioneering begins for the second term.

YEAR BEGINNNG 1/15/20. UR-PL: Revolutionary, revising, remapping, anti-establish¬ment, anti-government, spirit of revolution that dismantles current systems and tears down iconic structures. (PS – The president’s election to a second term will be an unusually arduous uphill struggle.) The other party goes at it tooth and nail.

YEAR BEGINNING 7/16/20. Once the primaries are over, everybody knows who's going to win in November, so things settle down.

During that time that transit Saturn opposes Sibly Mars and squares Sibly Neptune.
