Harvesting Ebertin...

One of the problems with fixed stars is that they can overlap, appear at the same longitude. This 2nd magnitude star is surely not as significant as Regulus, yet it falls at 5°43' Leo, in nearly the same place, and has a different character. It is the thigh of the Great Bear.

"In conjunction with planetary malefics, it is said that this star is a possible cause of 'a great blood bath.'" He goes on to speak of it primarily in term of mundane astrology where it stirred great violence.

I will ignore it...
