Orbs for 45* and 135* aspects

This has not been discussed too much at least not in relation to the sesquiquadrate and the semi-square. It's obvious that orbs for background planets for the aforementioned aspects should be .30 to partile, but what about aspects in the foreground or planets making 135 or a 45 to planets in the background? What is the cut off point where these aspects lose total power.

On occasion, it does seem that these are valid. I tend to think, though, that the main reason it seems this way is that the 45/135 transits to the natal are valid regardless of whatever is happening in the SLR.

In general, we only want to look at aspects between/among foreground planets, and that is pretty much never going to include one of these. One also wouldn't ever count trines and sextiles of foreground planets to background planets in a lunar return (though, in that case, there is a further reason: they aren't "hard" or dynamic aspects).

As for orbs of those aspects in general, in a natal I never go past 2° for them. In transits and progressions, the 1° orb seems to prevail (even though it then amounts to half the total orb; nonetheless, there is something about that 60' drop-off).
